Quotedaasandaas Well, Im afraid Parker Calligraphy Pens are the only Calligraphy Pens made in India and are cheaper than most calligraphy pens available (like Sheaffer which are very costly). So does that mean I should not encourage the brand..?? What are Sangat's views on this since Daas is a Mahamoorak and has no idea...? When I was a kid, use to go to the local Granthis house to play with their son. An elderly Gursikh from India use to come there, he was very loving in nature. He was very carefree. Back then, I wasn't much into sikhi seriously. But use to hear about saas giraas simran. So, very casually I just asked him how do we do simran with our breaths?(even basic meditation unknown to me to start with.) Heby piyasi chatrik - Gurmat Discussion Forum

QuoteB. Kulbir Singh You haven't yet responded why you are so sure that Bhai Daya Singh was Lav in his previous life. Instead you are bringing in the topics of Sodhis and Bedis, which is not the subject of this thread. In amrit Sanchar there are 3 of the following doing seva: 1)Panj Piarey 2) Granthi Singh 3) Pehredaar. we need to ascertain 100% first, who is the source of that leaked info. Peshi of abhilakhi should not be audible to the pehredaar. I personally know of one instance where the pehredaar has leaked the info. am sure elder gursikhs here can clarify better.by piyasi chatrik - Gurmat Discussion Forum
May Guru Shaib bless them with Gursikhi! but on the side note, pakistani law doesn't allow muslims to leave Islam.(no muslim country in the world does as a matter of fact)The news becoming public alone can cause them huge amount of trouble!by piyasi chatrik - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Since you were asking about Nov & Dec. Dass called in a Singh in amritsar today, Reansbhai+ Amrit Sachar at Bibeksar is at 27th of Nov. Sarabloh Bibek is made compulsory there, as its the maryada there & seva is only done by strict Sarblohis. In other amritsanchars at other smagams, its not made compulsory. The reansbhai for Dec falls on 31 Dec, so there wont be reansbhai at Bibeksar. Instead,by piyasi chatrik - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Quotersingh True, but in India (so called) Sikhs have the worst gender ratio. So many Sikh girls have been killed through the evil act of abortion(murder) it can be called the silent ghalugara of the Sikh females. In fact, I would say this silent and unrecognized ghalugara is probably greater than all the previous Sikh ghalugaras put together in terms of lives lost. While the other historic Ghaluby piyasi chatrik - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Saw the new live on Al Jazeera as it broke, it reminded me how when , how when Libyans protested against him, he called them "Rats".... quote from the news: "He called us rats, but look where we found him,” Ahmed al-Sahati, a 27-year-old fighter, standing next to a drainage pipe where the former leader was found, said." try going here also... There is this one historical Gurughar which many are not aware of in Delhi. Gurdwara Bala Sahib. Where Body of Guru Harkrishan Shaib jee was cremated. Mata Sahib Kaur jee was also cremated here. just google everything....by piyasi chatrik - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I personally researched on this matter but found no evidence till date. If we look at a number of handwritten puratan saroops that are 300-120 years old in the panth. We will realize that a big number of them contain kachi bani like Ratanmala & Jit Dar Lakh Muhamadan and so on. Majority of Gurudhams were being taken care of mahants & Nirmalas. Many of them also wrote saroops. Readers can regiby piyasi chatrik - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Dass very much agrees with MB Singh jee. But, its importance is great in meager understanding. When I was first introduced to AKJ, 2 things in Jatha stood out to me. Abhiyaas(Naam/Bani/Kirtan) & Seva. Seva at Gurughar & of Gursikhs is an inseparable part of Gurmat Prema Bhagti provided it is done under the shelter of Naam in ones Jivan. Why is it important to do such seva? 1.Gurughars(or whby piyasi chatrik - Gurmat Discussion Forum

QuoteUnjaan The other thing which I've noticed in Niranjan Singh Ji's case is that he no longer has a massive following, so Darbars that used to be completely packed to the brim when they had the Sant title is no longer happening. How sad! Since he removed the sant title, I have noticed this is also true for where dass lives.by piyasi chatrik - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Manvinder Singh, karpakaro asked the opinion/suggestions of Gursikhs here and hence they gave theirs. Not to hear you arguments. You discuss less and debate more. I have noticed you have the habit of first asking questions in "politely worded sentences" before proceeding in making futher posts where you show your true colors. Neither it is a secret that you generally have issues with AKJ.by piyasi chatrik - Gurmat Discussion Forum
1.Sant is an Avastha, not a title. 2. Is he a sant then? Soojvaan Gursikhs knows this answer well. 3.People say : "He's doing loads of good, very panthic minded, loads and loads taking amrit, divaans are full." About divaans full: In kalyug, this is what people think. Where there is a crowd there must be something good waiting in the end. About many people taking amrit.
