Bhaji there is some Gurmat related to this.

This shows in practicle "Eh Bhoopat Sabh Divas Chaar Ke"

Gadaafi or Saddam came to power being anti enstablishment and ended up being the establishment which was cruel to its own people. The fate is in front of everyone. Power makes a person hankaari. For Gursikhs

The last days of Saddam Hussein and Gadafi remind of the Gurbani tuk we recite daily

When in power both tyrants had numerous people who would adore and worship them.
Family members regarded these patriarchs as Gods. But in the last days these chamchay
(loyalist) were nowhere to be found. They knew these tyrants had a price tag on their head and
thus they fleed their leaders presence. Both Saddam and Gadafi spent their last days of Kingship alone hiding
in a hole trying to avoid death and in deep regrets from the actions they committed.Same scenario with Hitler
only his dog was with him in the end.

Our king, "Nasroo Mansoor Guru Gobind SIngh" whose joti jot is tomorrow on the other hand spent his
last days in pure anand. Guru Sahib left this world right after completing rehras. Everyday we recite Rerhras, and
the sun disappears into the night. But when Guru Sahib left the sun ( the light) did not disappear and it will continue
to be with us for all eternity . Dhan Sri Guru Gobind SIngh Ji whose kingship( gurgaddi) will never disappear.

Saw the new live on Al Jazeera as it broke, it reminded me how when , how when Libyans protested against him, he called them "Rats"....

[english.aljazeera.net]

quote from the news:
"He called us rats, but look where we found him,” Ahmed al-Sahati, a 27-year-old fighter, standing next to a drainage pipe where the former leader was found, said."

The cost one pays for ones ego.

Nai Singh jee why apologize. I myself got to learn a number of things as to how Gurmat is involved in this tyrant's death.

Indeed, every tyrant alive should take lesson from the deaths of Saddam, Osama and Gadhafi. Their regimes that stand on the blood of innocents may bask in fake glory for a bit, but ultimately come crumbling down.

The above pictures should serve as a reminder to all those who misuse their positions of power and do injustice. No matter how powerful the tyrant is, he is still just an insect in the eyes of Vaheguru. All these people in management positions whether it's chief minister, SGPC president, Siri Akal Takhat Sahib Jathedar, or even a Gurdwara Pradhaan; they all misuse power but they forget that their acts of injustice and upperhandedness will not go unheeded. Vaheguru is the true Judge of everyone's Karma and all tyrants will have to pay for their crimes.

The Syrian president and other big and small level tyrants should make a note of the hashar (fate) of Gaddafi. We all too should be careful in never abusing our position.

Very well Said veerji. There is no doubt there is a day when all has to come to justice. We might think that the current conditions/situations are to go on for ever but its never so. We have recently seen so many cases - SADAM Hussain,Osama, this one any many more.

As you mentioned its even worse to misuse the powers in GuruGhars and for Sangat. There are doing something on behalf of Guru and doing to those who come there with their heads down already. Its really hard to get away with this kind of misuse of Powers. We should be doubly conscious when we have these powers given the almighty. We should do all be ourselves beloveds of the Guru and the Sangat. This will sure will bring us all happiness of the world.

Having said all that about his badness as a tyrant ruler, I strike some awkward questions. Kindly forgive me for that, if you do not like it.

Thousands criminals die unnoticed. Thousands die of heart attack and other life style related deaths. Our life style is our killer many a times. Death of Gadaffi or Saddam is also related with their life style. It was their choice. They opted to live as a ruler, not as a normal common man.

The worst part about their "style" is that they killed innocent. All of the other weaknesses of these rulers are common with majority of the rulers on the world. Leaders in Democracy are also power hungry. They also kill innocents to remain in power, some times.

Gadafi was a ruler of the country at the age of 27. A pretty young age !
And he ruled the country for 3 decades. A long enough period !
Many of our leaders are unable to remain in power simply for more than 4-5 years.

Gadafi was born in a very poor family. So a boy or a young man, born without any economic resources, ruling the country is a miracle in itself.

And when these TYRANTS were in power, they got similar respect and honor, in international forums, as is given to normal leaders. It shows that something is also wrong with world politics.

He is being quoted as a leader, who was instrumental in causing PETRO BOOM and help to get a good price for the oil for these countries and help his country in development, in this process.

Actually he did not do much for the development of his own country or any other country for that matter. He was a billionaire while the national wage of Libyans was 2 dollars a day. This is unreasonable for a country rich in oil! Where is the equal distribution of wealth? Also, he also funded many terrorist groups which killed innocent people across the globe.

Veer Ji I dont see what was wrong with contrasting false kings to our True King. My point was these false kings eventually
left empty handed while our King never left and always remain king in this world and the next.

Gadaffi was not a good man, but we must also remember that this so called "revolution" is a revolution manufactured by the west. The leaders of this "revolution" were also hand picked by the west. If the NATO action was all about liberation, then why didn't they extent this form of liberation for the people of Bahrain? It's because it's royal family are lap dogs of America. America and it's media extended no such sympathy for the people of Bahrain as it did for Libya. Let's just hope that Libya does not turn into another Iraq where also "freedom" was brought by the west and turned that country into the the most dangerous place in the middle east.

Gadaffi was a tyrant who killed so many people, but what was Bush who is responsible for the deaths of nearly 800,000 people in Iraq? will he not be brought to justice? or is this so called justice only reserved for certain tyrants?

Actually Bush really did not plan Iraq War. DIck CHeney is the main culprit responsible for Iraq.
Before becoming president he was president of Halliburton Company (major oil company) ; thus, he was mainy acting
on self-interest. If we want to help the natural environment , and stop these mercantilist Tyrants from ruling and ruing other countries then we need
to use alternatives of oil. But then again if the West didnt interfere with the Islamic world then AL Qauida would be ruling and ruining these countries.
SO the choice we have is a puppet government ran through the dictations of the West or a fanatical governments ran by senseless lunatics.

There is always some chance of extraordinary personalities in non democratic countries. Democracy has little chances of producing Great personalities.

Just a feeling.
