My advice is not worthy compared the elder Piarey Gursikhs but if it can be helpful in any small way, Chatrik will consider it as my Vaddey-Bhag. Some time ago, dass made the conviction to do X amount of Paths Sri Jap Ji Sahib. Chatrik realized that Chatrik was more into achieving that X amount of Paths a day than listening to Gurbani. Dass has had this question for a long time, it about time to drop it. Have heard 3 types of Sri Choupi Sahib being recited through out the panth: 1) The Panthic Version. Usually will refer to them as Veer jee and Phen ji.... Dass reserves the 'Bhai Sahib' title only for dedicated beloved Sikhs Guru Ji(regardless of age)... otherwise, dass calls regular elder gursikhs than me as Singh Ji.... If older, I will use Mata ji(also for respectable gursikh elder bibian) and Uncle ji....
