Do you have any historical reference for this Bhai Jasjit Singh ji? I have never heard of any such tradition. This doesn't seem correct. The term "Gurmat Ishnaan" comes up every now and again on this website so it would be very beneficial to all readers if a step by step of gurmat ishnaan is writen out in detail. I personally know many gursikhs are unaware of the little steps and miss these out such as washing kanga after keshi ishnaan, removing the 'joothi' keski and keeping a fresh new one, cold water etc. Many thanks in advaby Hari Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Sikh shrine in Baghdad lives on in memories BAGHDAD (AFP) – A desolate courtyard surrounded by fields of mournful graves is all that remains of an ancient shrine to the Sikh faith?s founder Guru Nanak inside a sprawling Muslim cemetery in Baghdad. Nice thoughts Sukhdeep Singh. Bana is such a powerful gift from Guru sahib. One who wears bana in daily life will know it's affect and power. One thing is for sure, no one can debate whether bana should or should not be worn. How can a Sikh question the importance of bana? 1kaur, I think you are right. Many a times I have experianced this kind of treatment when at Darbar sahib by 3ho gursikhs. When I have exchanged gur-fateh with some of them around Darbar sahib, no reply of fateh was shared. Many sikhs in amritsar also feel the same way.
