On reading the post I think the man could have been on drugs. I know people sometimes exhibit strange mental behaviour after consuming 'sulfaa', 'gaanja', etc. I do not know of the synthesized drugs but these I know. Sometimes the effects are lifelong, because the substance does permanent damage to brain's physiology. Here are some things which I have seen: -the person starts to have more enerby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum

What I often fail to understand is how such people get the time and energy to devote to all this negativity when there is such a huge void inside our inner selves which begs for attention and tending. Whats the use of me going out, arguing with people on matters of religion, disturbing their peace and path, if I myself feel empty from inside? I guess some people do really feel that they have founby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum
It will take getting used to. You can try breaking up the sitting into 2 half hours or maybe three 20 minutes? You can also alternate between sitting and standing. Inspired by Guru Amardass ji I try standing sometimes. Sometimes I try jaap while standing. Sometimes when I am outside, like in a field or a yard or near some wall, I face the wall and do some simran. I like it. Of course it does notby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Dear forum members and admins, I am writing this with regard to Tejwant Singh ji's posts here on the forums. Tejwant Uncle ji, You are being completely dishonest. You do not give any straight answers. In all your posts it is seen that you aer playing hide and seek with words. You add no value to the discussion and your intentions are not clean. Tejwant singh ji you know how are interacting on this forum ? You say you want to learn and broaden your horizons and this and that and yet your tone and demeanor is that of arrogance! Maybe you think you need to follow gurbani only selectively ? I shouldn't need to cite what gurbani says about about humility here. That the library building was burnt is true because I saw thr burnt walls with my own eyes when I wad young. But at that time I had heard that they took away thr important documents to undisclosed locations. I think they took whatever they thought was historical and burnt the rest. Tejwant singh ji its clear you are trying to promote meat eating and your very first reply to kulbir singh ji was very condescending in its tone. Well l have to say that we in india do lack in social ettiquettes much more than in west. It is an everyday fact of life to break the line, jump ahead, to cut other person short, to interrupt the other person and scores of other small things. and when it comes to petty gossip, petty selfishness we make sure we are number one. Their are may examples veerji. You can look into biographies of modern day saints like Sant Attar Singh ji and others. Just a couple words on the point of Bairaag being painful. Its NOT the pain which is endured by us in our normal lives and it should not be compared with it either. The spiritual bairaag is the pain of separation from Waheguru. This is both love and pain at the same time. The person experiencing it pines for Waheguru at every moment till the day he/she gets spiritually ikk-mikk with Waheguru. Bby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I forgot to mention that Punjabi Vyakarn published by Panjab School Education Board is a good book which you can use for school teaching. Its available easily and is very cheap. Its price is around Rs 35 (If its still the same). The book is sound in its knowledge and you can depend on it. Its enough for school teaching and it goes towards the subject in a simple school teaching style way. Doby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I would humbly like to point out that Gurmukhi is the name of the script, the painti (35 letters, actually 41) which is used to write the language (punjabi). So the term Gurmukhi vyakarn should actually be Punjabi vyakarn. Traditional punjabi vyakarn is similar to Hindi vyakarn. Most of earlier punjabi vyakarn were written by scholars who were also well versed in sanskrit vyakarn for example Punjby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Very valid points. Definitely any baani which is not written by Guru Sahibs and yet uses 'Nanak' is using deceit as a medium of propagation. Even if it is simlar to Gurmat it is still deceitful: ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਤ ਕਰਹਿ ਰਸਨਾ ਕਹਿਆ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ ਚਿਤੁ ਜਿਨ ਕਾ ਹਿਰਿ ਲਇਆ ਮਾਇਆ ਬੋਲਨਿ ਪਏ ਰਵਾਣby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Well there is lot of udaasi literature which does not essentially contradict Gurmat teachings. I remember reading 'Parchi Addhan Shah Ji ki' many years ago and it was well written poetry in proper chands. And it did not go against Gurmat (as far as I can recall).
