Sagg ji I am going to take liberty and assume that you are living in a western society. If I am wrong I apologize right away. But living here in west and actual situation is Punjab right now is VERY different. I might not be able to communicate this properly. You are correct brothers. I could tell straight away that the article is biased. But it was the Brij Bhasha quotation that I was worried about. If one wishes to contribute the very first step would be to walk the path of Naam Bhagtee and at the very least reach a level where one can be reasonable sure that one is not in the grip of mind's fickleness, the fish like nature of mind and that Naam has fructified and one is safe in the lap of Guru ji. If that is not the case, ego is still in power and one is bound to fail on the path.by eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum

I really hope that this quotation which they are showing to be from 'Ripudaman Prakash' by Giani ji is false. Because for me personally it would be a hard hit if its true. Bhai Vir Singh was kind of my first love in modern Sikh literature.by eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I hold Bhai Vir Singh in great respect in my heart. But I read online that Khalsa Tract Society cheated greatly with Giani Gian Singh ji while he was gravely ill by making him hand over unpublished books to them with a promise that they shall publish them. Khalsa Tract Society never kept the promise and for the next 17 years Giani Gian Singh ji tried to get his material back but could never succeby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Dear Learner ji, I follow one method while in solitude), you may find it useful. - The target is to stop all thought and listen to the mantar with a rapt attention - Treat one's own voice as if its coming from a some outside source. Set a target for oneself that I must listen to this sound with as much rapt attention as I can. - Do not expect anything to happen. Do not look for anyby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Sevak Veerji, Some clarification: - You are right. You did not talk about bibeki rehat. I brought that in just to serve as an example that in spiritual life it is very important that one chooses what on eats and not all foods are equal. -I must make clear here that bibek rehat is more about purification of the food at the spiritual level than choices at material level BUT it certainly isby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Yess Veerji yug in itself has no power. But who knows what Waheguru will do? How can we know that the exact same events will or will not re-occur? In fact ancient Indian thought says that it does exactly repeat. Swami Vivekananda expressed so in one of his speeches. Tejwant Singh ji what according to Gurbani is the way to experience Waheguru? Is it through intense practice of Naam or it is through high moral living? I know many people in my social circle who have high morals. Probably when the event of 'Aakarsh' takes place everything merges back into formlessness of Akal-Purakh. Once that event takes place Time, Space, and Thoughts (which are products of physical space and sequence of events) would no longer exist.
