Bir ji, It is advisable to pray as much as you can in front of Guru ji. Baki Ajj Kall pehlan vangu dhakka ghat hunda hai. My practical advice is: 1. Ask the DSP to tranfer the case to Women cell where both parties can sit face to face and sort out the differences. 2. Contact local media person so that if any dhakka is done media highlights the issue. If possible take such a person along toby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Respectfully, I have a few doubts which I put before you for clarifications. We find that Siddhas are located in Gyan Khand as per: ਕੇਤੇ ਸਿਧ ਬੁਧ ਨਾਥ ਕੇਤੇ ਕੇਤੇ ਦੇਵੀ ਵੇਸ ॥ But in the next Khand Saram Khand it is said that the divine faculty of Siddhas, known as Suddha is created in Saram Khand: ਤਿਥੈ ਘੜੀਐ ਸੁਰਾby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Dear KS ji, I am very sorry to read about your mother. I totally agree some doctors are really killers rather savers of life. Some become greedy for money, some are just callous and careless and hard-hearted with no insaaniyat in them. Good doctors are few and far between.by eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum
No Birji, Sikhi is a special and particular type of ism and not just any ism. Sikhi is khanneyo tikkhi and waalon nikki ਸਿੱਖੀ ਖੰਨਿਓਂ ਤਿੱਖੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਵਾਲਹੁੰ ਨਿੱਕੀ ਹੈ Sikhi is a NOT just a way of life. It is a real relationship with Guru Nanak in his 10 bodies and then as eternally resident in Guru Granth Sahib. There are a loby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I am not a scientist birji, But I do not think it is not fair to condemn scientists when I am using all the science and technology in my everyday life. In the month of January my mother underwent a bypass heart surgery. She would have not survived had it not been for the doctors who operated on her. So I am grateful for the science which is available for the benefit of common people. I takeby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum
But scientists have given so much to human society such as electricity which runs light bulbs, fans, heating, transportation such as cars, buses etc, and IT such as mobile phones, computers, internet etc. All these things are immensely useful for all human beings. Even Gurmukhs of today use cars, buses, phones, fans, AC. I should think that it is Waheguru's hukam to have the things the way they aby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum

I think meeting of Guru should be taken to be as meeting at spiritual level, when Guru's Charan Kamal occupy one's heart. This happens rarely and only with Guru's Grace. Gurmukhs and physical disease: I think Naam can eliminate any physical suffering completely BUT usually Gurmukhs do not care for physical comforts and they let the karma take its toll on the body while their surat stays engrosby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum
In my cynical view I believe the true situation is far from the way its being perceived. One of my school mates is from extended family of the Radhasoami guru. They are one of the richest Sardars in Malwa region. An incredible amount of money and power tends to flow in these families. Their every move only serves to further strengthen the hold in terms of land holdings, businesses, investments, lby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Brothers, if the Prarabdha have to be suffered no matter what and if even by reciting Naam they are not rooted out completely and are minimized then what meaning should be attribute to such gurbani lines: ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਰਿਦੈ ਪਰਵੇਸਾ ॥ ਰੋਗ ਸੋਗ ਸਭਿ ਦੂਖ ਬਿਨਾਸੇ ਉਤਰੇ ਸਗਲ ਕਲੇਸਾ ॥੧॥ (SGGS, 531) ਰੋby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Dear friends, For long these ideas have troubled me. Many years ago I saw the movie 'What Dreams May Come'. A couple of years ago I read Deepak Chopra's book on discussions on NDE (Near Death Experience) based upon accounts collected from different cultures around the world. Recently I looked up NDE website such as this: http://www.nderf.org/ I am sure some of you must be familiar with thby eyesacademic - Gurmat Discussion Forum
