Dr. Preetam Singh Jee 'Anjaan' has written 2 pamphlets or tracts. The first published in 1997 is called 'Band Karo Amrit Parchar, Band Karo Amrit Sanchar' And the second one published in 1999 called 'Di Suno Pukar' These small books were not received well by many people and in fact distribution was stopped soon afterwards as they were thought to be too extreme by many Sikhs. Here is an extract of quite an article on these types of supernatural powers, it does not mention Akaal Shaktis though: Ridhi-Sidhi These are supernatural powers, and include Ridhi, Sidhi, Nau-Nidhi, Budhi, and Mukti - Ridhi It is attainment, success, progress, and affluence. Literally, Ridhi also means cooked-food. The practitioner of the Naam becomes widely known (influential), and tby Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
"mahamoorakh" jee, basically you can do anything with Akaal Shaktis. Move mountains, drain oceans, destroy continents, fly around all Khands and Brahmands in your astral body, visit and cruise around SachKhand. Anything really. But only full Gurmukhs are bestowed with these powers from Satguru Jee after they have proven themselves to be responsible and will not abuse them for silly purposes fby Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
QuoteKulbir SinghMan did not evolve from Baandars (monkeys) as Darwin has suggested. Haha lol. I remember several years ago at school we were taught about so-called Evolution in Biology class. I wasn't Amritdhari then, but this theory still did not sit kindly with me for some reason. I came home and asked my Dad about it, he said: "Eh scientists jo marjee kahnde rain, ma ta nai koi baandar tby Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Quotekaur92 What about if people around you follow or associate you with the caste? Also, if we have Singh/Kaur as our surnames then should we give our children Singh/Kaur as their surname or should they get this when they are blessed with Amrit? Regarding the first question: Gursikhs don't associate themselves with, or follow the caste system. This is the clear hukam, many times, from Gurbaby Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
QuoteSukhdeep Singh Jaskirat Singh Jeeo- Bhai Sahib mentions in his books that kirtan should be non- continuous, and the seva should be performed by a non- kurehti. We cant go by rumors about what he said and did especially when we have his writings easily available. THe problem is nowadays we have a milgobi ( modern) mentality we are more concerned about "ekta" even if it means watering down Sby Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I think it's fine to use surname for legal purposes on documents etc, main thing is that we don't indulge in any caste-ism behaviour like you have mentioned kaur92 jee. Even Sri Guru Raam Daas Sahib Jee is referred to as Sodhi in Gurbani (many Gursikhs often refer to 4th Patshaah as “Sodhi Sultaan”), same with Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jee, they call themselves "Sodhi Rae". I do not think there is anything "wonderful", "refreshing", or "informative" about this article. It's made up almost entirely of recycled posts that I have listed in my earlier post and is overly critical. I am tired of seeing posts criticising the Kirtan Smagams of today, the youth of today, or that Kirtan is not performed to their own lofty requirements. KhalsaPanth jeeo, without starting a debate on this topic, much of what you have written is already written here: and here and also discussed in this thread: Here is some photographic evidence to the contrary: I agree that is always better to have Gurbani Shabads memorised, but there is a way to go about this. Regarding feminism, I think what kaurs4 jee might be trying to say is that the feminists of today have gone away from the textbook definition of feminism which simmal tree jee has shared with us, and have now-a-days turned into female supremacists, i.e. women are better than men, and generally hating men which is not right either. Yes I agree with Veer Sukhdeep Singh Jee on this too Even in Bhai Sahib Gurdaas Jee writings we have bachans such as: ਏਕਾ ਨਾਰੀ ਜਤੀ ਹੋਇ ਪਰ ਨਾਰੀ ਧੀ ਭੈਣ ਵਖਾਣੈ|| and ਦੇਖਿ ਪਰਾਈਆਂ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਮਾਵਾਂ ਭੈਣਾ ਧੀਆਂ ਜਾਣੈ || Some people would interpret to mean it is only one-sided,by Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
As per sangat with Gurmukhs, there are differences between the terms Jot Vigaasi, Dasam Duaari, and Brahmgyani even though they are often used synonymously and interchangeably. I am not sure that I fully understand the difference myself, or even whether it can be explained on a forum like this, but I would not mind to see more on this.by Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
QuoteKulbir Singh Yesterday there was semi final cricket match between archrivals India and Pakistan and the total population here was crazy and everyone was talking only about this match. Veer Sukhdeep Singh Jee, Bhai Bijla Singh Jee has already proved what you have stated above is wrong in your controversial "Baba Nanak" thread. Bhagats like Prehlaad, Dhru, and others mentioned in Gurbani such as Ajmal, Ganika, and Janak were saved before Sri Guru Nanak Dev Sahib Jee was in their physical body, but they were still saved by Satguru Jee, that's because Satguru Jee ALWAYS EXISTEDby Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

That is an interesting question Veer Jeeo. As far as I am aware, Devtas are beyond normal birth and death like we humans, so I think they can exist for an indefinite period of time and therefore Dharam Rae being a Devta would not be susceptible to this.
