QuoteKulbir SinghBhai Jagtar Singh jee once said something along the lines that before punishing, Vaheguru takes away the gunns from the individual. So if you see yourself becoming weak in Rehit, Amritvela and Nitnem, become alert. Weakness in these areas is a sign of bad times coming. This is a good topic. I look forward to the full post on this Bhai Kulbir Singh Jee. The bachan of Bhai Sahby Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Khalsa Jee, Please see the below on how to fill in the census forms: The sevadars on http://www.thekhalsa.com/ and http://www.sikhcensus.org/ are doing a great job raising awareness. Please make sure all your Sikh contacts fill out the census correctly.by Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Veer Jee, the reason for the different lagamatra and the circle is because of Unicode conversion problems, Unicode has a lot of problems with these akhars. Just to clarify, I think the one in the STTM is the shudh Paath as written in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. We discussed pronunciation of halant briefly in this thread:by Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
http://www.SikhAnswers.com Khalsa Jee, when first coming into Sikhi, people are usually very keen and inquisitive and therefore have a lot of questions. For example back in this thread: or maybe some people coming from different religions and backgrounds, maybe even atheist, have a lot of questions about Sikhi, I think this website is great for that purpose and I am sure you will find the ansby Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Veer Jee please read those other threads, we learn from those, that Dasvandh's ultimate purpose is for the spreading of Gurmat Naam which is exactly what jee is doing.by Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

QuoteskDo we not lose all the spiritual profits of seva when we make it our job though? It seems highly dangerous. Certainly not Bibi Jee. Many Gursikh Sevadars have been paid from the times of first 10 Guru Sahibaan. We also have the magnificent saakhi of Bhai Bahlo Sabh Tao Pehlo to prove this, as well as this many great granthis in our history who were paid. Vaheguru. Thanks for reminding us about this twisted and dark time we are living in Bhai Sahib Jee. I hope that Guru Jee can save his Gursikhs in this dangerous age of Kaljug and that they will do this gareebs paar-utaar along with them. No Veerjee, it does count as Keski. Bunga does not need to be separate from Keski or vice versa. The Dastaar in the video is a tyaar-bar-tyaar Dohraa (Double) Dastaar including Keski (& Bunga in one - perhaps it could be just a little longer to wrap around the head one more time) and Dastaar on top of that. There is no need for an additional Keski. Anyway jee, the main thing is that Gursikhby Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Gupt Singho, it seems that the bunga of Kesh should be constructed from the Keski itself, as shown in the video. This does count, and is in effect the Keski itself. This is how I do it at least. I don't know why that these days most Singhs have separate Bunga for tying Kesh into, and then tie a Keski on top of that, and then Dastaar on top of that?by Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Vaheguru, you are right Bhai Jee. Bhai MB Singh Jee please give asseesaa that myself and other youth can read more Gurmat Literature by Gurmukhs in original Panjabi!by Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Really sad to see that Sikhs have to undergo this shameful treatment at airports. Shabash to Bhai Nirmal Singh Jee who is using his prominent position of Hazoori Raagi very wisely to raise awareness and protest against these mistreatments.by Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Baba Nand Singh Jee (Kaleraan Vale) is often associated with starting the Nanaksar movement. However, to the contrary, Baba Jee actually did not start any Dera or Jatha of his own, but rather the efforts of over-zealous chelas have now led to the creation of what is referred to in the present day as Nanaksar. Baba Jee was a great mystical Gurmukh who did countless Paaths of Sri Jap Ji Sahib and Mby Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Veer Jee, you can try it, of course I am not trying to force you, but I think you will regret it a lot. It will mess up your health big time, especially with Sarbloh Bibek. Sometimes Leafy jee, there is not always clear cut Gurbani pangtees or Rehitnamas in support of all Gurmat arguments and practices. Bhai Gurman Singh Jee, please don't think like that. Surely Gursikhs are opposed to beadbi of Gurbani in any shape or form? Yes we have already done the biggest beadbi of pad chedd ourself, but still, that does not mean we do not respect Gurbani and stand up for injustice. Bhai Sahib Jagtar Singh Jee Tapoban spoke to us in vehement opposition to Gursikhs going on Vegan diet. They described milk as "sariya naal pavittar cheez" (most pure thing for consumption). Invigorating, and I must say confusing too jee! QuoteKulbir Singh As to how Halant is pronounced in Gurmukhi, some scholars believe that Halant-ending alphabets should be stressed but Daas is a bit inclined towards stopping the prolonging of the sound of the Halant-ending alphabets. This is the type of wonderful and inspiring posts that make coming on to Gursikh forum worthwhile.
