Question 1: What's the best reason for not doing enmity or harboring ill-feeling for anyone? Attempt for Answer 1: Because we are supposed to consider ourselves the worst of all, and we read "dekh ke andiTh keeta" so we always overlook the avguns (bad qualities) of other people. When we focus on others weaknesses, sure enough those same things come into ourself. Question 2: What to do when sby Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Who can kill that person who has already drank death from the sarbloh bata? Like our elder brothers at Sri Chamkaur Sahib, ah hahaha!!!! This is no excuse to not wish Gurfateh to a Gursikh looking person. One gets blessings of Guru Jee by being the first to wish fateh, if they do not reply that is their loss. You will have the mukh (face) of Satguru Jee facing you, and they will have the back to them.by Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Great post jee. Please do take full gurmukhi name of Mata Jee after Amrit Chak, like Amritvela jee has done: Mata Gujjar Kaur Jee, same way we should take care to say Mata Bhag Kaur Jee, Bhai Kanehiya Singh Jee, Bhai Nand Laal Singh Jee, etc.by Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
QuoteKulbir SinghBhai Jagtar Singh once disclosed a mystical secret that at Amritvela, unseen, invisible-to-the-common-eye, special Amrit Barkha occurs all over, and one should never miss this, by sleeping or by not alertly indulging in Naam-Gurbani. QuoteKulbir Singhthis account was included in the daily Ardaas of Khalsa but the standard Ardaas suggested by SGPC has taken out this reference to Sikh Bibiyaan Bhai Sahib Jee, please can you tell me what exactly is the "daily Ardaas of the Khalsa"? I think at Sri Harmandar Sahib 5 Rumalla Sahibs are used? Regarding Veer Jee's second question: "Is it also absolutely mandatory to do nitnem with Guru Sahib if you have parkash at home? Does one person in the family HAVE to do it?" I think he is asking whether 7 Bani nitnem must be done in Hazoori of Maharaaj Jee, not if before or after prakash? I have seen some Singhs who always do this (wilby Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Worst time be quiet? 1. When you see someone being unfairly treated, or disrespect of Guru Jee or Gursikhs is happening. Best time to be quiet? 2. When hearing your own nindiya, being spoken rudely too, or being told off/scolded by elders.by Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Sukhdeep Singh Veer Jee is trying really hard to show everyone that Gursikhs cannot wear red or green. This is a valid rehat and is given as hukam in Amrit Sanchaars to this day. What is the big deal? If one is wearing bana then there is blue, white, yellow, and black if one is protesting against the British. If for whatever reason one does not wear bana all the time, then simply avoid weaby Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Very interesting! Thanks for the info jee. I've never heard of these concepts of tattsam and tattbhav previously. So we must test the words in question with the two concepts before deciding on pronunciation, excellent. Bhai Sahib Jee, is it right as: aades tisai aades, aad aneel anahat jug jug eko ves and not aadesh tisai aadesh, aad aneel anahat jug jug eko vesh? Same with Gyaan Khand pauree, all the ves have no bindi, is that correct?by Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Vah jee vah. We must all get our bodies decked out in the Basanti rang after this thread, and our minds in the suhee manjeenTh rang of naam. I am certainly not an expert in education, but I think it would be best to go straight to full degree rather than taking up time doing courses/certificates etc. If your intention is to do a degree anyway then you may as well quickly get it out of the way, rather than dragging it out over long time. This way even if you don't get a job or anything straight away, at least there is degree with you,by Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
That's right, a good point made by Veer Jee above. Also, if I am not mistaken there is a Saakhi when many Singhs were Shaheed on the battlefield and so Dastaars had come off and there was Kesh all about the place, so Guru Jee (Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jee) took off their shoes before walking on the field.by Jaskirat Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Hanjee, Leafy jee, what comes to my mind regarding the successors of Baabar are the ones who run/rule the country i.e. the Monarchy or which is most applicable these days the Government. I agree with Bhai Jaspreet Singh & Kulbir Singh Jee. Unlike Islam, in Sikhi we are not allowed to lie even for the sake of faith or to protect a fellow devotee.
