WaheguroojikaKhalsaWaheguroojikiFateh!! Bhai Jaskirat Singh Jio, I know Sikhnet is one of the leading and most visited website. I have heard them promoting hindu rituals (or being closely associated with the group doing so in Sikhi roop). Thus I wouldn't buy anything from them even if I have no resource at all but that is my personal choice. WaheguroojikaKhalsaWaheguroojikiFateh!! jaskiby Harmeet Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
WaheguroojikaKhalsaWaheguroojikiFateh!! Bhenji, I would recommend writing your own. You have so many stories on your blog, just create few small books I have noticed that the illustrations make a huge impact. Most books have very bad representation of the Sikhs in the image even if their intentions aren't bad. There are some issues with the stories on Sikhnet while some of them are good,by Harmeet Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Taking the shabad line out of context or picking the words to say inappropriate, fools will soon start condemning Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji if we as a panth don’t take stand against those condemning our Nitnem. These are mostly the same people mostly condemning Naam. When we are hollow without Naam, we may get all kind of weird ideas. Does that mean that Inder, Bhrama etc. got Guru's Shabad and they did reach sachkhand? Japji sahib say they reached Gyan Khand. Or maybe some Indra and Bhrama got saved and others remained in Gyan Khand since both said there are countless of them.by Harmeet Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Thank you Bhai Jaskirat Singh ji and Bhai Kulbir Singh Jio, I will try to update my poem to not add this point. Bhai Kulbir Singh Jio - please help in reviewing the poem for Sri Guru Angad Dev Sahib Ji I emailed.by Harmeet Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
WaheguroojikaKhalsaWaheguroojikiFateh!! I was under the impression that Sri Guru Angad Dev Sahib Ji created the Gurmukhi lipi but I read in Giani Harbans Singh Ji's book that it is a misconception since the Bani of Patti written by Sri Guru Nanak Dev Sahib Ji already write about the Gurmukhi alphabets which are based on Gurmukhi Lipi. It kind of made sense so thought of getting Sangat's adviceby Harmeet Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
WaheguroojikaKhalsaWaheguroojikiFateh!! Thinking of making a poem book on 10 Guru Sahib along with transliterations if Guru Sahib do Kirpa. Veerji, out of curiosity, how is killing a tied, innocent and weak animal help with Sipaahi part of Sant-Sipaahi? The meaning of Sipaahi in itself is protector of the weak and killer of the dusht. Killing of lion who is risk to other humans would be fine the same way killing the humans targeting other humans would be fine. Protecting the weak and needy is a duty of a Sipaahi. That is why theby Harmeet Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Saying Sri Akal Takht wrote Kutha as Halal in SRM is not correct since Sri Akal Takht was never involved with SRM. Sikh organizations decided to come to a common platform in early 1900's and had many meetings to come up with a draft but some of the key organizations involved didn't agree. So the SRM was tabled until the next meeting of all organizations to sort out the remaining differences whichby Harmeet Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

I always agree with the meaning of the tuk veerjio. shows that reading vedas will drown one. WaheguroojikaKhalsaWaheguroojikiFateh!! I am confused with the reasoning given above for 'ਮਤ' being without maatra cannot be used for 'ਨਾ'. Almost every where 'ਮਤ' comes as 'ਨਾ', it is without maatra (e.g. below shabads). The above meaning could still be possible but the reasoning given doesn't sound right looking at other shabads. Any advice if I am missing something? ਮby Harmeet Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
ਕੁਠਾ is a punjabi word which means killed. Some people are confused thinking it to define killing done in a muslim way which is not true and is proved below according to Gurbani. This word only came in 3 places in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. First place it is mentioned in the below shabad where Guru Sahib mentions that when GOD resides in you, the secondary thoughts are gone or killed (by Harmeet Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Thank you Bhai sahib jio. I was confused on ਨਾਮ being in Samband Kaarak because of its forming a relation with ਕਥਾ (even though sambandh di is not explicit) or it being in Karam Kaarak because of its relation with verb ਸੁਣੀਐ. Then I thought that the relation with ਸੁਣੀਐ is of noun ਕਥਾ so ਕਥਾ might be in Karam Kaarak but ਨਾਮ might actually be in Samby Harmeet Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Also I believe that the vishraam should be after ਕਥਾ and not after ਨਾਮ as we have heard many times in keertan. Any advice?by Harmeet Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
