I read the first couple of paragraphs of this article, and there was so much B.S. I couldnt continue to read this load of garbage. QuoteIn Assa-di-Vaar, the following words "Neel Bastar Ley Kaprey Pahrey, Turk Pathani Amal Kiya." - meaning that (people) started wearing blue clothes and started following the ways of the Turks. It clearly denotes that the blue garments were worn by the Muslims.by Sukhdeep Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
This type of sickening behavior is not just happening in the Arab world its even happening in developed Democracies such as the UK. Girl are drugged, raped, and sold. Some of these girls even come from Sikh backgrounds. Bhai Mokham SIngh Ji from the UK has done an excellent job in fighting against this sickness. In Puratan times" Fraternal Correction" was very common, meaning there was no problem when Gursikhs would check one another in fact they use to regard it as their duty to check their fellow brothers and sisters. But in Modern times among modern thinking Gursikhs this is not such a good idea. Great work! Very good intro. It might be worth mentioning that the British ( under Ernest trump) were the first to break up Gurbani for their own convenience. Trump had no respect for Gurbani so breaking it up was no problem for him. He even use to smoke while writing his pad chhed saroop.by Sukhdeep Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
NSS, I have explained in simple terms how todays Kabbai tournaments are completely different then the Kabbadi played during Guru Sahiban time. I will try to make it more simpler one more time after this dont expect another response. Puratan times- Kabbadi was played for exercise, and as a recreational sport. Todays time- Kabbadi is a competitive sport where people play for money, and they takby Sukhdeep Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I agree with Sinner that most of the pothi sahibs record it as Eik Oangkaar Shree Vaaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh Atthh Shree Shastar Naam Maalaa Puraan Likhyaatae Shree Bhagauti Jee Sahaaae, Paatshahi Dasvee Doharaa. Unfortunately , many pothi sahibs have excluded this bani all together or have dramatically reduce it. QuoteHaving said that the Baani Pehre (from which the Pankiti in question is) is really talking about the life of a jeev during the Kaljug time when sin increases quite bit and people lose their spiritual inclinations to material tendencies. So it makes more sense to interpret ਕਲਿ as Kaljug world Yeah after taking the whole bani into consideration it makes more sense to refer to ਕਲਿby Sukhdeep Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Jaskirat Singh, my intention was not to be critical on the Hindu religion. I was only trying to get better undestanding on the origins of the 4 bajjar kurehits. Originaly I thought the ban of Halal, Hooka, Hajamat, and Haram were in response to the Islamic practices, but after further thought I now think the creation of the four bajjar kurehits were in response to both Hindu and Islamic practicesby Sukhdeep Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Female infantcide is popular amongst uneducated people in the villages. The reason being the female is associated with dowry, and for poor people they cant afford such things plus a male child can help out with the farm. NS44, You are not understanding what I am saying. Yes, Kabbadi was played during Guru Sahiban time, but this type of kabbadi was completely different than todays Kabbadi. Here are the five basic points of the article. 1. Guru Sahib raised Female gender equal to man at a time when it wasnt popular especially amongst other faiths. I looked at Prem Sumarg Granth again and the saying is not to do Naam Jaap after kirtan sohila the saying is as soon as one is done with their days work they should recite Gurbani ( including Dasam Bani) . Then do kirtan and then when they are tired do kirtan sohila. Upon waking they should naam jaap with each swas and awaken their attention throughout the day to naam jaap.by Sukhdeep Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
