Daas has to go pesh about some galtia but I have hit a certain block I was hoping Gurmukhs could help with. I was thinking in my mind about maryada in all places and got thinking that I was worried about most places maryada and so I'm really confused as to where to pesh now. I recieved amrit at a rainsabai originally and only wish to pesh in similar settings, however even within this there are vby Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Are you taking anything for your anaemia such as iron supplements? You may wish to talk about this with your doctor as maybe taking the supplements AND cooking in iron would not be so good. Checking with doc is best. many congrats on starting this rehat, please carry on with following it!! (even though i dont myself)by Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum

I think what I can take away from this in terms of applying it to my life is that at least I should increase my sikhi in my free time and only then hope for naam abhiyaas when out there like that.... thanks all.by Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Thanks alot bhai sahib jeeo, I am very sorry to keep bothering, I now have all pens, paper and ink ready, i think final question for now is in regards to ik oankaar and rest of bani, please advise as to which of these is correct:by Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Also, must each ang written correlate with each ang of the gutka sahib, i.e. must each ang end with the same word as it ends in the gutka sahib? What if there is a space at the end of the ang? (not writing saroop, just jap ji sahib).by Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum
The main thing preventing me from starting now is that I am unsure how to write in larivar across angs. Is it ok for the ang to end in the middle of a word and the rest of the letters of that word to carry on the next ang?by Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Sadh sangat jio, daas has been very involved with university work lately which has included a great deal of meeting with the other students (non gursikhs) for shared work which cannot be avoided. There have been a lot of conflicts involved and I feel extremely (spiritually) drained and stressed out even afterwards when I am away from the situation. What is the best way to remain in sehaj while inby Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum

gurfateh jio, this is really a wonderful post. just a few questions: if only writing specific bania such as mool mantar, jap ji sahib, various shabads etc. and gurmantar is it still necessary to have a chandoa. If so we are blessed with Guru Maharaj parkash however im not sure if the floor area where it would be most easy to sit would be totally (if at all) covered by the chandoa (its a prby Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum
In a nutshell: something that replaces the part of marriage that are manifestations of the limited physical and emotional relationship that non-gursikh husband and wife have, with something on a higher level of spirituality that is still centered on the relationship between the two.by Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh sangat jio Daas had a thought come in mind that those couples who are outside of Guru Ji's sharan, they are unfortunately limited to having a worldly relationship based on physical side and emotional side of relationship. Gurbani states that a true husband and wife is one soul in two bodies. This in itself is a profound statement which must require aby Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum

I came across this, amazing! (from khojee.wordpress.com) Baba Nand Singh ji Kaleranwale has blessed the Sikh panth by teaching a viddhi (method) by which we may make spiritual progress by leaps and bounds. Those who remain awake on the night preceding the day of the pooranmashi will attain the spiritual merit of doing one month worth of amritvela. Those who remain awake the whole night precediby Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I have been wearing a bunga (keski where kes is tied into kes) for many years now, over this period I have noted that my hair line has gone very much backwards, to a very bad extent now. I know that the first step is to take a break from bunga, but is there anyway to help the hair grow back? Also any general tips on how to look after hair line and not put strain on kes? thank you.by Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum
What colour do the gursikhs here ask for from the shop keepers? do they recognise words surmee and basanti or is there another way to refer to them? I usually just pick up a shade of blue that I like the look of.by Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Thank you bhai sahib jaskirat singh ji!! this is excellent news. I was starting to lose hope. But still like I said in my last post, the full benefit will be if we can get this out to all the sangat or at least in jatha to start with. Its so hard passing up langar and degh because of being unsure of things like this.by Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Amazing stuff, I suppose you would probably need to have a lot of concentration in abhiyaas on its own first... i feel like not even nursery class lol. I wonder if there is any refrence to the technique in bani as well?by Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum
thank you bhai sahib kulbir singh ji for your post, and sorry for my late reply. I think I have to agree with this, these days it is too hard to trust these companies. I wish that jatha atleast was centralised in someways so as to spread out these messages to gursikhs to make life a little easier...by Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum
About yogurt, this intriguied me so I did some googling and found this, the last post on the page being the most useful: "My mother-in-law from India taught me how to make yogurt without a starter.. use a small tamarind (u can get dried at Indian store) and a dried red chili in only a small amount of boiled milk. You let that set, then use that for the starter of the next batch. Repeat stepsby Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum
When following bibek to gursikhs buy ghee from outside or always make it themselves? Also, I have seen that some store bought ghee have an added ingredient 'ethyl butyrate', so that can't be bibek. And another thing is I have seen most ghees that are used even in Gurdwara Sahib don't have a vegetarian sign. Is this ghee acceptable?by Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Sadh Sangat jeeo, Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh Recently daas has been spending time in sangat which I would not normally be in, as generally I like to be around Gursikhs as I am such a neech individual I need that around me to keep me on track as my mind is VERY susceptible to what is around me. Thanks very much for your replies, sorry for not writing earlier, I have been quite busy the past few days. You have all written amazing posts. You see, I have been thinking more along the lines of what Bhai Mehtab Singh ji has written in his post these days, as I think with this roop, my reaction reflects on the rest of the community. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh, sadh sangat jio, I would like to place infront of the sangat a few similar scenarios and would request Gursikhs to share what should be the response of Gursikh in such a situation. I think these are all situations we should know how to react to especiaby Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Thank you bhai sahib for your reply, I see so in fact it is better to have less contact with the person to avoid problems. I was just wondering then if anyone who has been through the process in the jatha, especially if from UK, you can share your experience? I undersand in jatha you can approach the jathedar or gursikhs and they can suggest you anyone else who has asked them and from this poby Theguptone - Gurmat Discussion Forum
