Bau Mal Singh jee & Dharam Raaj

Bau Mal Singh told this story to my father himself. Bau jees Singhni had just passed away .One Day Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh jee came to him at Amritvela and asked him to accompany him. Bau jee left his body and went with Bhai Sahib in his Sookham Shareer to Dharam Raajs Court. Bau jee said Dharam Raaj got up, left his throne and greeted both of them with the upmost Satkaar. (It is said Gursikhs have a special Nishaani on their forehead showing they are Naam Rassiya Khalsa and even Dharam Raaj has to get up as he is left in Bismaad by Gursikhs) Bau jee said Fateh to him in a loud voice. Then Dharam Raaj showed some things to Bau jee and asked him and I quote

Dharam raaj = "tu ehna nu janda haen?"
Bau jee = said without any fear "mainu ki pata eh kaun hann."
Dharam raaj = tu ena diyaan ardasaan nahi kitiyan?
Bau jee = mae ardasaan kitiyan ,par aap hudriyaan nahi kitiyaan.maen sangati roop vich kitiyan si.
Dharam raaj = par kitiyaan te tu ne?
Bau jee =Hanji.
Dharam raaj = pher dass maen ena daa ki karaan? je maen ena de karamaan te jaavaan ,phir eh bakhsheh nahi jande par teriyan ardassaan karke maenu panga pyaa hai, manu ehno chaddne paenge.
Bau jee =eh teri sirdardi hai meri nahi .

After that conversation he left for some high mandals ahead. Then he went to some place and asked for his wife and ordered someone that he wanted see his Singhnee . After some time his Singhnee came and she said Fateh to him and greeted him as Bau jee. Bau jee said I laughed and asked her "ki aje vi mae tera Bau jee haan?"And then he said to her that after she passed away Bau jee did Akhand Paath for her. She replied and said, many of her relatives did Akhand Paath for her but the one which Bau jee did for her and did Ardaas at the Bhog had uplifted her spiritually and got her a place higher in the Spiritual Mandal. There was great bliss of Naam it is indescribable wave upon wave of Naam Rass was unbearable the Divine Niranjan Jot of Vahiguru was pure and forever luminous. After some time he came back to his body.

Excellent Saakhi Vista jeeo. This Saakhi proves that true Gurmukhs don't leave their companions even in the next world. The following Pankiti comes to mind with respect to this Saakhi:

Wonderful sakhi which illustrates the power of doing ardas in sangat as opposed doing it alone.

I am reminded of a sakhi from Pehli Paatshhas time. There was a man who use to rob and do bad deeds. Eventually he came across a Gurmukh saint and destiny on his forehead changed. The man took Amrit and started to recite bani daily, give dasvand and do sangat of the Gurmukh saint. The Gurmukh told the Gursikh that he did not have much longer to live, and the Gursikh died very shortly after taking Amrit. When dying and going to Dharam Raj the Gursikh did not have enough Naam Kamaee to reach Sri Sach Khand.

The Gurmukh was also present at Dharam Khand and bargained with Dharam Raj on behalf of the Gursikh. The Gurmukh told the Gursikh to ask dharam raj if he could spend one gharee in Sach Khand, and Dharam Raj accepted this request . Sri Sach Khand is beyond time when the Gursikh reached Sri Sach Khand he become in complete bliss from the elevated kirtan. But he was saddened knowing he would have to leave , and face Dharam Raj to receive punishment from his previous deeds. The Gurmukh told him that he had no worries as Jamdoots can not take him from Sach Khand as they have no access to Sri Sach Khand.

I dont think its so wrong to add the respectful title" Sri "when referring to a proper noun. People do it all the time when referring to Sri Akal Takht, Sri Hazoor Sahib ,Sri Harmandir Sahib , Sri Patna Sahib, etc.

As per Taksali Singh -

One of the various meaning of "Sri" is Maya or Lakshmi. But in Sach Khand there is No Maya. So simply "Sach Khand" is enough.

Sangat use to call "Sachkhand Hazoor Sahib", "Sachkhand Harmandir Sahib", "Sachkhand Patna Sahib". But Maya has attacked the prabandhak committees of gurughar and "Sri" has been literally added to all the asthans.

In layman's saying Sachkhnad is beyond time, space and infinite. How one can call something 'Sri' if it is beyond triya Gunn. This could be a topic of long Vichaar.

In short Daas would suggest take guidance from what in Gurbani and Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh has written simply 'SachKhand' in his book titled 'Sachkhand Darshan'. Daas's point was to avoid creating intentional/unintentional new terms which none used before for established facts.

To be correct even if we use the word Sachkhand for Harmandhir Sahib or Hazoor Sahib we call them as Sachkhand Sri Harmandhir Sahib, Sachkhand Sri Hazoor Sahib not Sri Sachkhand Harmandhir Sahib or Sri Sachkhand Hazoor Sahib.

We call Harmandir Sahib and all takhts by using Sachkhand because Sachkhand Vase Nirankaar.A common man is not known about parbhandhak committee what a person think is what happens there?

Really good saakhi. Hope Guru Jee blesses me with the ardas of Kamaiwale Gursikhs like Bau Mal Singh Jee in the hereafter.

Wow this is an amazing saakhi and it really inspired me to do sehaj path. Lovely just beautiful. Blau Amal Singh Ji must have so much love for his dead wife that he did path for her and met her spirit in another Lok.

Look at the pure love he had for his wife. Truly praise worthy. Olden days were good.
