Books & Exhibitions - 100th Anniversary of the Ghadar Lehar

Posted by BSRS-Trust
To mark the 100th year of the Ghadar lehar (1913-15) 3 books (which included coloured painting and pictures) are being released at this year's Annual International Akhand Kirtani Jatha UK smagam this week.

These are:

1. Ghadhar Lehar di kahaanee (story of the Ghadar Lehar)
2. Ghadhari Jodhay (details of those involved in the movement)
3. Ghadhar di goonj te Bhai Randhir Singh (poems, prose & kavitaa dedicated to the movement)

In addition, there will be exhibitions unvieled at the museum in Derby to mark this occasion, and slideshows which will go through a pictorial view of this era and those involved.

Pick up your copies at the smagam, and learn about how our forefathers dedicated their lives to the freedom struggle of India and what their jeevans were like.

Vaisakhi deea lakh lakh vadhayaan.
