Bhain jeeo, I personally don't think simple Punjabi suits are anti-Gurmat because as you pointed out Bibiyaan at the time of Bhai Sahib used to wear them but as this humble daas wrote in his previous post, wearing Chola-Pajaami-Hazooriya-Dastaara is something else and much superior. Also note that Cunningham has written that Sikh Bibiyaan are distinguished from women of other religions also by thby Kulbir Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Bhain jeeo, chola, chooridaar pajaami, Khalsaee Dastaara and White hazooria around the neck is the most ideal attire for Khalsa Bibiyaan. I will try to attach a picture or two of Bibiyaan in this baana, later on. They don't need to introduce themselves to anyone. They look like daughters of Siri Guru Gobind Singh jee because of their Khalsa Baana. Kulbir Singhby Kulbir Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
We all are at different levels of spirituality. When we talk about Khalsa, we talk about the ultimate human. Khalsa is the Soldier of Akal Purakh. Of course it has a uniform. There is a uniform at spiritual level and a uniform at physical level. At physical level, Khalsa uniform is as follows: 1) Doohra Dastaara (two turbans) - The keski or the small turban should be at least so long thatby Kulbir Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Thanks for the feedback Bhain jeeo. I will try to post a loose English translation of the original text. Both Professor Sahib Singh and Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha were great scholars of Gurbani. Faridkoti scholar Giani Bachan Singh had a different approach altogether. I was amazed at how differently they approached this double pankiti of Gurbani. Stay tuned for the English translation. Many Gursikhs feel that we should try to post and reply in Punjabi as well. There are Gursikhs in India who are interested in reading posts written in Punjabi. Bhain jee 1Kaur jeeo, Quote since different gursikhs teach different pronunciations, how do we know who to follow? This is a difficult question. I personally follow that school of thought with respect to Gurbani pronunciation which mainstream Jatha and puratan Singhs of Bhai Sahib's times used to follow. As to what school of thought to follow, I guess do what the voice deep inside tells yoby Kulbir Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Outwardly jeeo, I am not sure if fateh originated at the time of first Amrit Sinchaar or if it was practiced before. It seems like it must have been introduced at the time of Amrit Sinchaar because Guru Sahib officially declared the takers of Khand Pahul to be Khalsa at that time. Since fateh contains the word "Khalsa", it must have originated at the time of first Amrit Sinchar. I could beby Kulbir Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Excellent example, Bhain jee 1Kaur jee. I did not think of it but yes this is a perfect example of how one can become a bemukh by losing faith in Guru Sahib. And how dramatic this incident was. How magnanimous of Guru Sahib to keep that Bedaava with him for so long and then at the requby Kulbir Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Baba Sham Singh is accepted as an undisputed Brahmgyani in Sikh Panth. Great Gurmukhs including Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh jee and Sant Attar Singh jee Mastuanewale accepted Baba jee as Brahmgyani and at some point in their life took guidance from him. Outwardly jeeo, It really does not matter whether you say "Parvaan Karo" or "Bhog Lavo". If we get the great fortune of serving Siri Guru jee in human form, it would not matter if we said, "Parshaada parvaan karo Sachay Paatshah" or "Bhog lavo Sache Paatshah". Outwardly jeeo, Quote I always thought that all Bhagats in Gurbani were blessed with the Paras-kala of Naam and had SachKhand Darshan through physically meeting Guru Nanak Dev Ji (as in the case of Ramanand Ji, and all their Sathi at the time) or through Mahraajs divine and supreme kirpa in another form. Bhai Rama Singh jee did not say anything about using the toothpaste or not. All he mentioned was that before sleeping if we clean our teeth with Black pepper and salt, our teeth and gums stay healthy for long time. At that time I noticed that he had beautiful teeth. Very accurate analysis Chatrik jeeo. The lesson from this alankaar or story is quite obvious. The father / king is Vaheguru and the initial investment of 100,000 mohars is our swaas (breaths). We are in this world as per hukam of Vaheguru to earn true profit or laaha of Naam. If you ask a Muslim what the status of non-Muslims would be in the next world, they would say that they will all burn in hell. The stance of Christians is pretty much the same. Thanks Bhai Jasjit Singh jeeo for a very informative article on Gurbani pronunciation. Indeed if the paathi does shudh paath of Gurbani with all bishraams and nasal sounds, it becomes much easier for the listeners to understand the paath. Anyone can read as it is written. The literal meaning of the word Manmukh is such person whose mukh i.e. face is towards the mind i.e. one who follows the mind is a Manmukh. Bemukh is such person who turns his mukh or face away from the Guru. One who disowns his Guru is a Bemukh. The closest English word I can think of is an Apostate.
