Veerji, Perhaps, Bernard Shaw understood something our misled brothers and sisters don't. This incident reminded me of Dr. Rabindarnath Tagore. He was at a kavi(poet) sammelan (gathering/conference) when he ran into into a Patit. This person was a budding poet and in complete awe of Dr. Tagore. He was eagerly looking forward to meet him. He told Dr. Tagore how much he liked his poems andby Jaachak - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Bhai Sahib Ji, I really liked you post, just reinforces how Guru Sahib is always with his Sikhs. I really liked the line below. Especially, when you compare your situation to traasadi (disaster), very funny . "ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸੋਚੌ ਕਿ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਰਾ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੀ ਭੁੱਖ ਲੱਗੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਦਾ ਬੈਠਾ ਆਦਮੀby Jaachak - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Veer MB Singh Ji, You mentioned about how much Bhai Sahib loved nature and all the fruits and trees planted in his kothi. This brings back to mind, one of the stories that sevadar ji (whom I met during my visit to Bhai Sahib's place) narrated. You may already know about it veerji. But, daas thought for benefit of those who have not been to Bhai Sahib's place, might as well narrate it. Seby Jaachak - Gurmat Discussion Forum
waheguru, wish I had read this thread earlier...had a gut feeling after reading the first post by Bhai Kulbir Singh Ji, that it is a poetic conversation between sachkhand vaasi Bhai Sahib Bhai Vir Singh ji and punjab de shevein dariya (6th river (becuase of his works in gurmat/punjabi literature) Prof Puran Singh Ji. veerji, daas is eagerly awaiting for a thread of Gurmat stories on bhai virby Jaachak - Gurmat Discussion Forum
veerji, i am confused as well. Please forgive my limited understnding. But, after reading your last post, some pangtis have been constantly coming to mind. 1kaur Bhenji has already stated so many of them. vahegurooo - amazing sakhi of a Great Gursikh. I have a question - Is it the same Baba Sham Singh ji from whose dera, degh is brought daily to Sachkhand Siri Harmander Sahib? Here, dass is trying to point towards the first degh that is being served in Siri Harmander Sahib immediately after the ardaas of early morning ishnaan seva of Sachkhand (i.e. before darshan deodhi is opened for the saby Jaachak - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Veer Harinder Singh Ji and MB Singh Ji, I have a question for both of you. Why has the word "Dasam Sri Guru Granth" been used in your posts instead of the commonly used Dasam Granth or Sri Dasam Granth. Dont get me wrong on this one, I am a complete supporter of Dasam Granth. But why are we using the word Guru, when Choji Pritam Siri Dasmesh Ji only accorded Gurgaddi to Dhan Siri Guru Grantby Jaachak - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Veer Kulbir Singh Ji, When you had started this thread, you wrote: "In the coming days, this Daas will be writing some Saakhis, involving many Gursikhs, about Ardaas Shakti. Veerji, I had heard this in a gurmat samagam about 6 years ago. I remember that the katha vachak ji said that the 5th singh was Sant Waryam Singh Ji's father-in-law. After googling, I found that his father-in-law's name is Sant Heera Singh. I dont know much about sants in Punjab (being from Delhi) besides Sant Attar Singh Ji mastuana sahib and to some extent baba nand singh ji. From the stby Jaachak - Gurmat Discussion Forum
