So the bhagats before guru sahib did they have to be reborn during gurujis time? or did they get Gurujis blessed vision and naam whilst they were alive (time travel). Excellent post by the way.by Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

I would also add hygiene. Gursikhi jeevan teaches to be clean inside and out. Hygiene is a very big plus, prevents illness and diseases and cold shower is very good. Also, identity/roop. I think only those who tie a dastaar know the feeling, but when you tie it on you feel like the king of the world! Nothing can get in your way. The dastaar and beard make others take note, just like the sher whenby Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

excellent write up, learnt a lot. Many thanksby Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
There is a much more emotional write up of this story but i found this for starters.......this story misses out the part where father and son worked extra hours for the zameendaar to get money for rations for the langar. The zameendaar refused to pay, so both father and son decided to take what was rightly theirs.... during the time of G. Arjan Dev Ji, the Guru stopped in a village. The sangat haby Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
You could change 1 to chaar sahibzaadey shaheedi. Also, when mataji asks about her 4 sons and Gurujis reply is so emotional and amazing. He truly saw us as his sons and daughters, theres no other father like him.by Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Why doesnt the panth cut out two pieces of paper, one with ragmala is bani and the other stating it is not. Then Gursikh does ardas for guru ji to provide answer. Which ever paper floats in amritsar sarovar is the truth. Actually we will then probably fight over who does the ardas....by Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Is this pauri from BGV authentic as it is somewhat confusing in regards to the gurmantar and doesn't make sense, but that could be due to my lack of understanding, so I thought I would ask the wiser ones on here. It puts the gurmantar from the four ages which makes VHRG, the R and G are the wrong way round, if it was to make the gurmantar. Having searched the net there are suggesstions that the pby Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I will be fortunate to go India in October. I will be staying at Harmandir Sahib for a few days. Also, planning to go to Patna Sahib, has anyone on here been recently? Whats the best way and wheres best to stay? Finally, there will be Smaagam on at Dayalpur, nr Kartarpur, checking the map these two places are very far from each other, so where exactly is Dayalpur?by Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

SingfrroBham - Iv not twisted anything my friend, this was a post by a taksali singh on the internet. I dont really care about what Thakur Singh says, but his followers interpret his message llike I have put across on this boar. Dont shoot the messenger!by Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Seems like its gang mentality, when all thats needed is a bit of logic, to come to the conclusion. I heard a very funny katha from Thakur Singh, he says the last word of the mool mantar ends with a sassa and so does raag maala! LMAO, this is the kind of rubbish people are falling for. The person who posted this I asked them what if you believe that the mool mantar ends at gur parsaad? Guess what?by Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
If we see this happen today we say that person is following a baba, so how do we make the differentiation?by Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I remember when I first came into Sikhi, I had no knowledge (not that I have much now) and I didnt know about the different groups and beliefs. But a taksali singh knew I was coming into sikhi, so he took me to his car at the gurdwara sahib. Inside his car he pulled out a book, which said something like raagmala bani hai. He went off on his discourse about raagmala, I left the car very confuseby Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Im sure this question would have been clarified by the panj when you received amrit. All I can say is when doing naam abhiyaas in sangat its important that the focus and rythm are all focused on method. If you have different methods in one place it will be hard to concentrate on shabd.by Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I wish these people knew the truth, I wish they knew that when beadbi took place by narakdharis in 1978, Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale didnt approach taksali singhs or nihang singhs, he went to the Gursikhs who dont believe in Raag Maala, who were doing kirtan at the time anmd asked them to take action. There sant asked the Singhs that they do nindhiya about for help.....something to think aboutby Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
