Raj karega Khalsa is in future tense, it isn't a prophecy, it is an inevitability, that Khalsa will rule. This tamasha is going to turn full circle.by Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
If satguru existed at the beggining of time, then isn't it possible that satguru gave Amrit naam to any deserving Bhagat irrespective of their birth and location? Why are we restricting guru sahib with human limitations? Guru sahib didn't have to be in human form to bless a Bhagat with his Darshan. Guru sahib has travelled to other planets, yet we question how hr got to America! Lol.by Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Ah I see, thankyou. I thought it was a certain type of yoga and method which the guru and his Sikhs practiced.by Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
What is raja yoga? And what place does it have in a gursikhs life? When gurbani mentions raja yoga it appears that guruji practiced it and is instructing us to do the same?by Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

If Im not mistaken, I think what our younger brother is saying is that maybe he feels a bit like a robot, doing what hes doing without any feeling? I sympathise a little because its like youve passed an exam without doing any revision.....and it is difficult doing something without love. But like bhai sahib has said, keep doing ardas, keep asking guruji to invoke that love/spark/thirst within youby Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I had the fortune of meeting bibiji when on holiday in Canada, she met us with a lot of love and respect. Her face was radiant and you could tell there was something about her. I'm so glad we took some pics! Like us she was on a road trip and was excited about seeing bears lol.by Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
My nanniji used to tell me a story about when she was younger. She basically passed out due to being ill, however she was still alive, her family members thought she had died and did a number of things to revive her. Eventually they gave up and started preparing a funeral pyre for her body. Just before they set the wood on fire she woke up. The interesting part is what she recalls whilby Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Reminds me of the sakhi where bhai nand lal wanted to be the dog that sat next to guru sahib......amazing how much love gursikhs have for their guruby Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Could somebody please clarify if it's true that the 52 kings that guru sahib released later turned against him? I read this on another forum, but with no source or link? Alot of 'Sant/Babay' talk down on rehits they dont keep. The reason for this is, if they didnt dismiss the rehits they dont keep then their followers would doubt them and see it as a weakness in them and therefore they would have no more followers. The people would ask If hes such an amazing Gursikh that hes claiming to be why doesnt he abide by all guru sahibs bachans or at least make an efforby Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Taan Singh, Im afraid you are lying as I have sat with you and you have told me directly what you thought about Sarbloh! You have also mentioned to me Gurbani tuks and totally changed the meaning to them, I was lucky I saw through your cleverness and what you were trying to do. If you can reach sachkhand without Sarbloh why are my brothers and sisters keeping that rehat? for the fun of it? Thiby Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Gupts, How do you know who is or is not a brahmgyani? Do they have a meter next to them showing you what level of spirituality they are? Personally I dont care for such darshan, theres only one darshan a Gursikh should care about and that is for Vaahiguru. I could come on here and say iv had vaahigurus darshan and he told me that without keeping all rehats you cant have my darshan or go to sby Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Taan Singh you say that you dont want to talk about your personal spirituality, but then you drop in the line about being able to see who is in Sachkhand, very humble of you! I think I know who you are anyway, maybe you should say on here what you have said to me in person? 1. What is your favourite Gurbani (or banis) and why? I can only answer this when I have read all of my Guruji. 2. What is your favourite shabad and why? Kabeer, I long to die; let me die at the Lord's Door. I hope that the Lord does not ask, ""Who is this, lying at my door?"" The above Shabd just brings soo much emotion and really hits home the reality when im wasting my days away.by Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
This is the problem with Sikhs, we assume that because a person has SANT infront of their name, whatever they say must be true!? even if its against what our Guru is saying. My questions to you Wisdom will be how do you know so and so is a Sant? Do you have a machine to measure their spirituality? Im not saying that these people arent spiritual, but Ive found True Gurmukhs would never allow Saby Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I think I maybe getting my sakhis confused here. But wasnt their a moment in this sakhi where Bidhi Chand had to hide and the only place left was a boiling hot oven. He put his dhiaan in Guru Sahib and jumped inside the oven without hesitation until the gaurds walked away. Whilst this was happening, Guru Sahib was sitting in sangat and asked a Gursikh to throw a cold bucket of water over him,by Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I was of the thought that all your previous bad karam get wiped once you receive amrit, however in Bhai Sahibs autobigography the story regarding his teeth being smashed by the police officer with one leg was to balance the account of a previous karam, i dont understand tho, because Bhai Sahib was one of the greatest Gurmukhs and surely once he received amrit and lived the way he did, wouldnt heby Aalas Moorakh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
