Clarification on Admin Policy on Posts

Posted by admin
Please re-read the following topic on approving posts:

[gurmatbibek.com]

As per the Admin policy, some posts are not approved because these posts contain subjects beyond the scope of this website. We want to maintain the serene and spiritual atmosphere of the site and for this reason, sometimes even some good posts are also not approved if we forsee these posts turning into unnecessary bickering and name-calling threads.

Please bear in mind that this site is not a newspaper that is supposed to disclose Panthik or Anti-Panthik people, organizations or even Gurdwara committees. We want to avoid getting into controversies. There are many sites out there, where such topics can be discussed. The core focus of this site is spiritual rather than all topics.

One person is upset at this site for not allowing discussion on internal affairs of AKJ; another person is upset at not allowing debate on Niddar Singh Nihung on the site; third person is upset for not allowing him to attack a Gurdwara Sahib in New York/New Jersey that has links to dubious people. Not allowing such debates does not mean that this site is condoning behaviours of such people but it means that we don't want to bring negativity of those sites and people on this site and would rather like to stick to spiritual topics or general Sikhi topics that don't beget hatred, negativity and anger.

The admin team is not perfect and has made many mistakes but it needs your cooperation in continuing to serve the Panth by churning out good posts and articles in order to inspire its readers to do Simran, Paath and keep Rehit.

Apologies for any misunderstandings or mistakes.

Admins.

my word that is a bit cosy isn;t it - surely any topic can be discussed without hate - anger -prejudice - if some one displays then admins you have the right to close the topic.

vichaar of extreme importance - controversies are obivous in the panth - and should be highlighted but topic closed if there nindyia and slander comes about by admins.

The biggest issue we have is that we cannot debate and vichaar - and sorry to say the comments above even though positive are actually negative in certain respects.

This is an important post.

This form is a diamond in terms of Gurmat. This forum along with tapoban.org has taught me most in regards to Gurmat.

This forum has been successful due to the focus on spirituality.

I have noticed that on other forums when controversial topics and politics are discussed the level of spirituality decreases.

So benti to posters to increase the level of posts on Gurbani arths, santhiya, sakhia related to history and great Gurmukhs of the past.

Sikhs are abandoning their spiritual goals of Darshan, Dasam Duar, SachKhand and this is the reason why the political targets of the panth are not being achieved.

Daas feels that the assar of kaljug is increasing day by day. So called Sikhs are attacking jatha and prominent Gurmukhs without any fear or sharam.

Also I would like to thank the admin for not allowing controversial posts or posts that attack individuals.

May Guru Sahib continue to bless this forum with chardi kala. May Guru Sahib bless the panth with ithfaak (unity).

I would like to congratulate the admin for posting this utmost important information regarding what type of atmosphere is preferred on GB. It seems some members of the forum expect or treat this forum to be a fertile land to discuss controversial topics, from which you do not reap any spiritual benefits. Overall, this forum has inspired the readers and posters to write Gurbaani, start practicing Sarbloh Bibek, wear Bana, etc.

One poster of this site has always been frustrated about the fact why Gurmatbibek.com does not allow certain topics, etc. If some posters would like to discuss such useless topics, they can do so somewhere else. But they should not view or treat GB as such a site.

Chardikala!
