Jaiteg Singh Anant is the editor of "simrati granth" which is a large book including letters of bhai Randhir Singh ji as well writings from various sathis of bhai sahib. The book also lists other books that bhai Jaiteg Singh ji has edited including "ragmala darpan" and "ragmala nirnai". Does anyone have any more information regarding these books? They were published recently in April this yearby Gupt1 - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Daas has found the names of some of Gyani Nahar Singh ji's books: "panja sahib di ithhaas", "azadi de modi", "chahu juga da nabera", "muktsar da itihaas" and "gurmukh babe". If anyone has any more info regarding these books please share particularly "gurmukh babe". Since giani ji was a sathi of bhai sahib his books would be a good source for Gurmat. I have been in contact with PDL - in regards to the next update. They have assured me the site will be updated, the process is taking a very long time due to funds. I suggested that they contact SGPC because they are doing seva for the panth by digitising Sikh manuscipts. They replied saying that it would be good idea for people to write to SGPC to request funds for PDL. I have also asked tby Gupt1 - Gurmat Discussion Forum
The majority of Gurdwara Sahib worldwide for some reason prefer to have a large palki rather than chandoya. For me the palki acts like barrier to Guru Sahib. With the chandoya it is easier to have darshan of Satguru ji. For me chandoya feels right and is puratan tradition that is still carried out at sri Darbar Sahib. It is true that Gurdwara's are focusing too much on the physical appearanceby Gupt1 - Gurmat Discussion Forum
In the majority of Gurdwara Sahiban there is a palki and stage alongside for katha and kirtan. I feel that palki is not suitable and there should always be chandoya instead like at sri Darbar Sahib. Also the kirtaniye should be facing towards Guru Sahib and not the sangat. Not only Gurdware but this set up is also found in smagams.by Gupt1 - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Dhanvaad bhai Jujar Singh ji. There is a letter contained in this book written by bhai sahib that is written in pure farsi! Link - It seems that Sikhs were more knowledgeable in terms of language than today. They could read and write Punjabi, write poems, understand grammar, understand, speak and write other languages such as Farsi and Urdu.by Gupt1 - Gurmat Discussion Forum
If not e-books It would still be possible to create PDF's for Gurmukhi versions of bhai sahib Randhir Singh ji's books. Maybe you could post these on the main trust website. Also do have any more info on the "Simrati Granth" Onkar Singh.by Gupt1 - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Is it possible to create Gurmukhi "e-books". This would be good as some of bhai sahib's books I believe are out of print. An e-book or pdf version of bhai sahib's books would solve this problem. Daas doesn't mind paying a fee for the books as I know it goes towards the trust and more seva can be done.by Gupt1 - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Does anyone have info relating to bhai Madan Singh ji. I know that he has written a good tract on Ragmala as well as "Gurmat Gadi Rah". Bhai Madan Singh ji lives in the UK. I have also read that bhai sahib has also done sangat of bhai Randhir Singh ji. If anyone has any more info regarding bhai sahib please share. Onkar Singhby Gupt1 - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Daas recently through kirpa of Satguru ji chakked amrit from AKJ organised amrit sanchar last month in West Midlands UK and can confirm they give naam drir. I was hesitant to use my real name on this forum until I had chakked amrit, daas's name in Onkar Singh. Just to confirm, naam drir is when the Panj tell you the jugti of Naam and then make you recite naam? Also in the amrit sanchar, eacby Gupt1 - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Daas was doing some research into the cheese making process. To make cheese you require an ingredient called rennet. Rennet can be from an animal source or a plant source. Obviously Gursikhs do not consume animals and opt always for vegetarian sources. On the Wikipedia site it mentions microbial rennet and GM rennet are suitable for vegetarians so long as "no animal-based alimentation" was usby Gupt1 - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Interestingly, Nirmale still teach student at various dera's throughout Punjab and India. The main dera of Nirmale is located in Hardwar and currently Gyan Dev Singh is the mukhi. Sevapanthis have also produced literature and one of their granths is available on PDL: This granth is attributed to bhai Seva Ram who was a disciple of the great Gursikh bhai Kanhaiya ji.by Gupt1 - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Found this book on bhai sahib Randhir Singh ji that I have not seen before: Has anyone read this?by Gupt1 - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Daas agrees with bhai Bijla Singh ji that these granths are not a pre-requisite to understand Gurbani. Unfortunately I believe Nirmale do not regard Gurmat as a distinct religion and that other mats too can reach SachKhand and that SachKhand is an avastha rather than a realm. However I do respect the amount of literature that Nirmale have produced from the 18th century onwards including the grby Gupt1 - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I am sure the family of Pandit ji have possession of his works. Somebody should try and make contact with Pandit Kartar Singh ji's family. This way we could learn more about the jeevan of Pandit ji and the books he authored. Maybe PDL could get in contact with the family of Pandit ji and digitise his books.by Gupt1 - Gurmat Discussion Forum

A Gurmukh Pyare requested for Pandit ji's Jap Teeka. bhai Kulbir Singh ji, It is a great loss for the panth that the bir prepared by bhai Hardas ji was shaheed in 1984 massacre. However I remember you writing that the SGPC wrote a book on this bir. It would be very interesting to see the Gurbani pothi prepared by bhai Hardas ji. Since bhai Hardas was a hazuri likhari, the bani in the pothi should be highly shudh in terms of spellings and it would be interesting to the placement of the mangals. Does anyone know where this pothi of Gurbani is located?by Gupt1 - Gurmat Discussion Forum

correction - "No book can explain the greatness of Gurbani and literature cannot replace gurbani." bhai Kulbir Singh ji, are any senior members of AKJ in the process of writing books? It would be great to read about the experiences of senior members of Jatha. I am thinking of Gursikhs such as bapu Harbhajan Singh ji and bhai Jeevan Singh ji.
