Agree w/ Bhai Kulbir Singh, This reminded me of a story- I remember about 10 years back we had an akhand paaht at our house and the Singh doing paaht seva repeated the tuk a few times at which point he signaled to my dad to wash and bring a pen - The Singh was able to realize a sihari was missing as he was doing paaht. This issue and the issue of taking a "virtual hukam" has come up before too. In my meager understanding I would agree with 1kaur but as far as taking a virutal hukam is concerned I see Gurgaddi as only given to Guru Granth Sahib Ji in Granth Saroop. Just like we can't take a hukam from individuals who have all of Guru Granth Sahib Ji memorized as being equivalent to an actual hukamnama from Guruby Tarun Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
