Well Bhagwan Singh Ji, It happens with Guru' grace. Small things happen before that, you try to treat everyone the same. You will take stand against your own, if they were wrong & outsider was right. You will have respect for nature. You will have respect for all religions. You will have longing for God without any thought or rewards. You will feel his presence everywhere. With all due respect & mostly humbly with my limited intellect. Once Gurbani starts doing asar, you feel fragrance, your body starts to vibrate. Corner of your eyes you see light all the time. You feel warmth of ether energy entering through your ears. You start seeing images of nature, saints, bhagats & Guru sahib jee. Your path goes into auto pilot mode. You feel at peace. bhul chuk maaf.by sevak - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Simran” is derived from the Sanskrit word “smarana” which literally means “the act of remembrance.” Many enlightened souls have taught that by practicing simran, i.e. remembrance of God, one is purified and attains salvation. “Si-mar” means “to die”. Through the act of constant remembrance, we kill our ego in order to have union with the ultimate Truth – God himself.by sevak - Gurmat Discussion Forum
