There is nothing to learn from Pope Francis or any other manmukhs for that matter. Khalsa already has everything. If anyone would like to learn about authentic history of Bhagat Sahiban one should read Giani Gurditt Singh's Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ithihaas Bhaag 2: Bhagat Bani. 1. The pauri of a vaar is written by the Mahalla whose Vaar it is, in the case of Maajh Ki Vaar the Sirlekh of it tells us it is Mahalla 1. Both the saloks and the pauri can be considered as separate, complete shabads, even though when a Hukamnama Sahib is taken the 2 Saloks and the Pauri are all read together. 2. It brings peace to listen to such shudh Gurbani recordings from rehitvaan naam abhiyassi Gursikhs. These are the best recordings I have heard. I look forward to more Gurbani paaths and the entire paath recording of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee.by Trust Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
When Sri Guru Angad Dev Sahib Jee decided to transfer the Gurgaddi to Sri Guru Amar Daas Sahib jee, Guru Sahib gave 12 blessings for the 12 years of dedicated, single minded, and extremely difficult seva that Sri Guru Amar Daas Sahib Jee did in the Guru Ghar. ੴਸਤਿਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾਸਾਬਾਸਜਨਮੁਸਵਾਰਿਆ ॥ It is a bittersweet moment when Gurmukhs do Akaal Chalana, sweet because it is a celebration of a Gursikh who has made his life worthwhile by japping Naam and having darshan of Vaheguru, and bitter because we, the people of the world, are separated from a Gurmukh soul who inspby Trust Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Good effort by those involved in this project. I had two questions: 1. When trying to use the search function on the issuu website no results except from the first 5 pages of each book are being displayed. Why is this? For example if one searches for the word “isMG” (Singh in Gurbani font) no results except from the introductory 5 pages. 2. In the pankiti you have enquired about (ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਵਸਾਏ ॥ ) you are correct in stating that moorat actually means Naam. Bhai Sahib Gurdas Jee has explained in his Vaars that ‘moorat’ actually means Shabad (Naam) as below: ਗੁਰ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੁ ਹੈ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰby Trust Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Talwara Jee also states this is the only single pangtee from Bhagat Soordaas Jee ‘ਛਾਡਿ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਬਿਮੁਖਨ ਕੋ ਸੰਗੁ’ in the whole of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. Regarding the numbering, he writes: ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੂਰਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਇਕੱਲੀ ਤੁਕ ‘ਛਾਡਿ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਬਿਮੁਖਨ ਕੋ ਸੰਗੁ’ ਨੂੰ ਭby Trust Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I would like to ask why in the last few santhiya documents (Arti, Asa ki Vaar & Sukhmani Sahib) a tippi is being recommended instead of a bindi when the last letter is a haha with a sihari (ਹਿ)? For example: ਸਿਮਰਹਿੰ instead of ਸਿਮਰਹਿਂ ਮਹਿੰ instead of ਮਹਿਂ ਮਾਹਿੰ instead of ਮਾਹਿਂ Please could you explain? I do not undeby Trust Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

I had a few queries about some things I noticed in Sukhmana Sahib: 1. I think in the fourth ashtpadi of Raag Bilaaval, Bhagat Kabeer Jee’s name appears with a tippi on the kakka as ਕੰਬੀਰੁ in the pangtee ਨਾਮਾ ਜੈਦੇਉ ਕੰਬੀਰੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨੁ ਅਉਜਾਤਿ ਰਵਿਦਾਸੁ ਚਮਿਆਰੁ ਚਮਈਆ ॥ may I ask if this is a sby Trust Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I agree that is difficult to demonstrate in writing online, but the tippi is a nasalisation which you should be able to feel in the back of your throat and nose when doing the ucharan of these words in Gurbani. According to Sikh history the correct spelling of the name is ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਬਾਬਾ ਜ਼ੋਰਾਵਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ: I think nearly all leading Sikh historians including Principal Satbir Singh spell it as ਜ਼ੋਰਾਵਰ ਸਿੰਘ I think the discrepancy with the kanna has occurred over the years through lax pronunciation, to the extent that it is noby Trust Singh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Many Sikhs consider reading Gurbani without adding any additional bindis to be accurate.
