Bhai Inder Singh Ji, Kindly re-read my previous post, I am NOT interested in debating with you about which calendar is accurate or better. The point of my post was that the new calendar adopted by the SGPC is NOT an amended 2003 Nanakshahi, it is the ORIGINAL Bikrami. Therefore, the SGPC, Jathedar Gurbachan Singh, and the Sant Samaj, all LIED to the PANTH when they implemented this calendar,by NiranjanSingh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Which calendar is more accurate or suitable for the Sikhs should be determined by Gurmat jeevanwalay GurSikhs who are also specialists in mathematics, physics, and astronomy, because those are the skills required to work on such a calendar. I don't think we have very many in the Panth with those qualifications. What is disturbing about the whole calendar controversy is not the calendars themsby NiranjanSingh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Unjaan Jee, So are you saying those who celebrate Sri Dasam Patshah's Gurpurab on the 5th are manmukhs, and those who celebrate on the 11th gurmukhs? Jathedar Iqbal Singh of Patna Sahib added that those people are "Panth Dokhees". What about the majority in the western world who will be celebrating during the weekend of the 8th/9th? How are the classified. So last year everyone was aby NiranjanSingh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Let's be realistic - most Gurdwaras in the USA are observing the Gurpurab of Sri Dasam Patshah on January 5th, and not being a weekend the actual celebrations of the Gurpurab are occurring on weekend January 7/8th. Most of the Gurdwaras that are observing on the 11th are the ones controlled by Akali Dal Badal, Mehta Taksal, Nanaksar and other deras.by NiranjanSingh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Gursevak Singh Ji, Thank you for sharing the document prepared by Bhagat Ji. It must have taken an immense effort to put together this document. One thing I have noticed in Bhagat Ji's document is the statement that the EXACT santhyia/viakhyia or pronunciation given by Damdami Taksal has been "seena-baseena" passed on from Jathedar to Jatherdar, hence from Guru Gobind Singh Ji to the presenby NiranjanSingh - Gurmat Discussion Forum

Sewa Singh Tarmala is a very dangerous man and will cause a lot of damage to Sikhi one day. Two decades ago, he used to be police constable under Sr. Simranjit Singh Mann. Bhai Kulbir Singh Ji, The intention of my post was NOT to promote western clothing, or belittle Gurmukhi Banna. It that is your take, then let it be. The point I was trying to make is we should not blindly belittle or judge anyone just because their clothing does not fit our "image" of what Banna is. This seems to be a common trend with youngsters who link themselves with the Jatha, Taksalby NiranjanSingh - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I think we have to be very careful with "our holier than thou" attitude before labeling others who do not fit to our image of a "banna" as less than Sikhs. No doubt, simple Gurmukhi clothing is the best, but Sikhi is not based on outward Banna alone. Is there a Panthic accepted version of what exactly is Banna? Still waiting for a response from Bhai MB Singh Ji and Bhai Kulbir Singh Ji on why they consider the above passage an invocation to a diety (Durga Devi) and not Akal Purakh Sahib.
