I'm sorry I chose such a ridiculous name. I couldn't think of anything better. I will not post again using this account. However, thank you for answering my question.by The Martyred Ghost - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I wanted to get the sangat's opinion on Blood Donation. I have been actively donating blood for the past 3 years, so that it can be used in hospitals etc. I go every 6 months at various clinics, and donate blood. The nurses say I have very healthy blood and urge me to come out every time. Please guide me, and help me understand if there is anything wrong or anti-gurmat with what I am doing. I would call Badal a tool, but that would be an insult to the word itself. Tools are supposed to be useful.....by The Martyred Ghost - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Guru ji said this 300 years ago. Funny! Sikhs need science and Russians these days to follow bibek.by The Martyred Ghost - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Ok, all negativity aside. I stand by my original post. The question isn't about further discrimination to these fellows, because it already exists amongst bibia. Rather, it is about "special treatment" these people are getting by being allowed in the inner circle (keertan area) without dastaars on. I mean think about it, knowing out committees and jathedaars, these people were probably some hiby The Martyred Ghost - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Baba Uttam Singh, before getting all defensive, answer this, what cardinal sin have the bibiaan commited to not be allowed to do keertan sevaa there let alone sit there ? Where does the 4 door concept go then ? And you are upset with me, with asking, what are people like THAT doing there ? If you can answer that question to me, without giving me any Nonsense about old maryada or tradition,by The Martyred Ghost - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Or you can think of them as fools, which is a theory they proved to you themselves with their words, and move on worrying about guru ji, than owing explanations.by The Martyred Ghost - Gurmat Discussion Forum

I see people in orange, and khuley kesh and daaray in back, but I see no dastaar. No offence, they remind me of hindu sages and yogis. what are they doing in darbar sahib, nonetheless right behind kirtani jatha ? Dumalla wearing singhs aren't allowed there, but such people are ? I would really appreciate an explanation, if there is any.......??by The Martyred Ghost - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Vaheguru! I do not think ManjitSingh ji created this petty issue. In other posts on this forum, he is referred to as raja and in the original post here, he was referred to as maharaja. I think he just wanted clarification, give the poor guy a break. Also, I see no harm or wrong is having usernames that arn't our real names. I swear I saw a guy post here once with the name TalibaniSikh. Come onby The Martyred Ghost - Gurmat Discussion Forum
I also wish to thank you on such a warn welcome to this website Manmandar Singh. Much appreciated!by The Martyred Ghost - Gurmat Discussion Forum
Baba Manmandar Singh ji, Thank you for your valued feedback. Unlike ManjitSingh ji, I don't remember asking for an opinion. Haun vari vanjha ji, I'm not sure if you were supporting me or attacking Manmandar Singh, but I don't think that gurbani pankti has anything to do with his name.by The Martyred Ghost - Gurmat Discussion Forum
A humble opinion, referring to Ranjit Singh with the title Maharaja, does not undermine Guroo Saheb's value in any way. Guroo Saheb is beyond and above worldly titles. So we should stick to calling him Maharaja Ranjit Singh. I see no harm or wrong in it. It's a petty issue to debate over.by The Martyred Ghost - Gurmat Discussion Forum
