You can find more anmol bachhan and kirtan from "Veer Ji" at [www.panthrattan.com]

He was one of the few true 'pracharaks' who stressed on the shabad, and not the body!

Dass had the good fortune to know this great saint personally for many years; however dass was too immature at that time to get spiritual 'laha' from him :-(

jpsingh77 Ji kirpa karo, tell us more about bhai sahib. I know atleast thousands who came to Sikhi with his Parchar Sewa. Difficult to find such NISHKAAAM sewaks nowadays.

I remember his last visit Kirtan at Torornto where he said.

"I may or not come again (who knows) , but i tell you onething today - THE ONLY TRUE GURU ON EARTH is GURU GRANTH SAHIB."

I love his Video in Jagat Meim jhoothi Dekhi Preet.

Bhul Chuk Maaf !!

'Gursewak' Veer Jeo,

What do I tell about this great personality, who everyone used to call "Veer Ji" by love? He was a very learned, knowledgeable and patient Gurmukh!
He was full of compassion. I have seen first-hand, different sects of society approaching him for resolution of their matters - be it family-related, panth-related, or any other; he always used to give practical, gurmat suggestions.

One thing that used to impress me was that he used to give a very practical (aka modern) advice to all young gursikhs. His aim was to attach as many people into gursikh way of life,as possible!

And MOST IMPORTANTLY, he was a Gursikh of a very high avastha!

Being part of his inner-circle, I can personally vouch for some amazing incidents concerning Veer Ji.
There is a book available of his anmol bachhans - "Khoj Shabad Mein Leh". I have that book, and I also have most of his kirtans, simran sadhnas, etc. In case anyone is interested, I would be happy to share some of that stuff with the sangat.

One amazing thing about Veer Ji was the way he used to conduct Simran-Sadhna. It was simply amazing, and many a times alot of 'kautaks' used to occur during such occassions.

He used to do alot of charitable work also, including opening the Akal Ashram at Saohana, Mohali, near Chandigarh. There is also "Sri Guru Harkishan Sahib Charitable Eye Hospital" just next to Akal Ashram, which is a charitable eye hospital equipped with most modern technology equipments.

Before leaving for Sachkhand, he had passed on his 'pagri' to Bhai Davinder Singh Ji (Khanne-Wale). Incidently, nowadays, Bhai Davinder Singh Ji is on a kirtan tour of Canada (including Toronto).

I remember, he used to say that most of the people that come to him, come for some worldly gain or the other. There are very few who come for Naam! What do I say? I was also one of the majority ones only !
