the issue with this job is it goes against the other two pillars of Guru Nanak Dev jee which is

1. kirat karne
2. wand shaknaa

a sikh must work and work hard like the dickens -

I always wonder about kirat karne and if Sikhs have come to place far too much emphasis on this than we should. After all, Guru Amardas Jee gave this sermon to Sikhs long ago:

"Don’t spend or eat more than you need to. Also work just as much as you need to. Don’t do anything above and beyond the need for it."

If a Sikh is at such an avastha that they can indulge in bhagti and nothing else, then "Santa ke kaaraj aap khaloya har kam karaavarn aaya raam."

Thats so true. If this world was occupied only by Gurmukhs, we will have countless of jewels in our lakes and rivers. The whole planet will become beautiful beyond imagination.
Its the "hard work" of manukhs that has completely ruined the climate and thats why we so many natural calamaities these days.
