Some questions related to Guru sahibs seva

1. At home if we have parkash of Guru Sahib and have children who want to do chaur seva is it mandatory for the children to have taken full ishnaan including kesh ishnaan and not have gone to #2 after the ishnaan?

2. What is acceptable no of days by when the darshani rumalay and sukhasan rumalay should be changed?

1. It is a must for anyone doing Seva to do full Ishnaan including Kes regardless of age. That includes children. They should also wear Suchay Gurmukhi Bastar.

2. Usually after a few days Rumallay are changed. As for Sukhasan Rumallay we keep two sets so whenever we do Parkash we rotate them and after a week or two we wash them. I think it just depends on when you think they are ready to wash. Due to use and touching with hands the Rumallay can collect dust and oils from our hands which will make they a little bit dirty so they should be washed based on how much they are used.
