Meeting with Gyani Avtar Singh Badhni Kalan
Gyani Avtar Singh Badhni Kalan is the grandson of Sant Gurbachan Singh jee Bhindranvalay and resides mostly in Badhni Kalan to do Parchaar Seva. Badhni Kalan is the pind just adjacent to my own pind Lopon, so my family also knows Gyani jee personally. Gyani jee has a lot of Gyan of Gurbani Arth and has done Sangat with many Puratan Gursikhs such as Sant Gurbachan Singh jee Bhindranvalay and Gyani Mohan Singh jee. As well as doing Larivaar Katha at Gurdwara Sahib in Badhni Kalan Gyani jee also goes to different pinds to do Parchaar and influence youth to take Amrit and keep Rehit. Gyani jee often visits Canada and UK for Parchaar pheri and was here in Canada for the last month or so.
Yesterday Gyani jee came to meet with the Singhs and we did Keertan and Gurmat Vichaaran for quite some time. Gyani jee shared stories of Gyani Mohan Singh jee and talked about their Bhagti and how they came into Taksal and met with Sant Gurbachan Singh jee Bhindranvalay. While discussing Panth Parkash Gyani jee very lovingly referred to Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh jee and mentioned how they were the ones who stopped Gyani Gyan Singh from doing Nindya of Sri Guru Gobind Singh jee by claiming that Sri Guru jee consumed Pheem.
The condition of the Panth at this time was also discussed and the Singhs requested Gyani jee to take a strict stand on Larivaar Saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib jee. Gyani jee agreed that we need to educate the masses on importance of Larivaar Saroop and said they will do their part in this.
The meeting was then concluded and we parted ways. Hopefully we are able to do Sangat of Gyani Avtar Singh jee again in the future.
