insurance policy- yes or no

daas de man vich ik confusion hai.
is it correct to take life insurance policy or medical policy as per gurbani?
sometimes i think that what those policy holder will insure me, only guru can insure somebody's life.
but my parents and my relatives force me to take a medical policy, they say it is very essential now days as nobody knows about future.
i don't know but from inside i don't think its correct, as our ancestors too didn't have any such policy but still they survive
i need your help please throw light on this topic from gurbani or from bhai sahib ji's books.

As per gurbani, guru is our rakha, our protector, our provider our everything (even our VAID/hakim/doctor)

we as sikhs are not opposed to medical care, in the event you may need some it is a good decision to have some coverage.
