Non-Amritdhari Naam Jaap

I wanted to ask if a Non-Amritdhari person who's preparing to take Amrit is allowed to Jaap the Gurmantar before having taken Amrit, also if the answer is "no" what should they do instead to prepare for Amrit instead, I'd appreciate any response.

I think you already asked same questions in this thread [gurmatbibek.com]

In that thread SinghAbb has provided several links for you to go through. Pls. read all of them throughly.

I did read through them; however, I was wondering why Akhand Kirtani Jatha has Simran programs where they Jaap the Gurmantar where non-Amritdharis are also there, (who also Jaap the Gurmantar), without stopping them or anything? Many of them are probably not even preparing for Amrit, (which is why I asked the question). Forgive me if I offended anyone.

VAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA, VAHEGURU JI KI FATEH

This was asked at a recent camp, particularly as it pertains to Amritvela Simran and Simran that was occurring in the afternoon as well as part of the camp. The response provided by an elder Gursikh was that in such an environment where there are so many Amritdhari Gursikhs taking advantage of Sangati Naam Simran, there is nothing but benefit. Yes, it is discouraged to do Naam Simran in the presence of those who have not been instructed about Naam Simran by the Punj Pyare, but the presence of a few non Amritdharis does not preclude the benefit and overall positive nature of Simran in Saadh Sangat.

Also, it was mentioned that there are rare souls who may not be blessed with Amrit who attend these Simran divans and are inspired to become Gursikhs as well. I recently saw an individual (not Kesadhari) who attended multiple Amritvela divans in a recent Smagam and sat through many of the Kirtan divans. Who knows what past positive karams will be unlocked in this individual and what spiritual heights could be achieved.

To make a show of Simran, to purposely do Simran in the presence of a majority of non Amritdharis - that is discouraged from what I understand. Some also take issue with Simran in Keertan, as it has become a thing of showmanship and performance, not a genuine internal desire to recite Naam. Sikhi is a game of love and the discipline associated with it, not fakery and pretend.
