Maha-Shame on those Sikhs who supported Badal in 2012 election. Badal Dal is enemy of Sikhs, worse than any ruler came before.

The only way to stop spreading the Beadi of Gurbaani is to abandon the printing of Padched saroops. Panth should make this decision immediately. If you continue then there is more Khuaari on the way.

Don't become part of Maha-Manmat. You have witnessed the results of Maha-Manmat.

Guru Sahib Kirpa Karan Shaheed Sikhan nu Charana wich Nivaas Bakshan.

Why someone should do Beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib Jee is a matter of concern for Sikhs. Badal is showing increasingly that he is no Sikh. He is no different than the Congressi rulers. Even in 1978 when Singhs were Shaheed and Gurbachna was fully protected by Badal who was CM then as he is now. Sant Samaj made a big mistake by partnering with Badal.

MAKKAR’S SHOCKING REACTION AFTER SUSPENDING PANJ PIYARE
DAILY SIKH UPDATES | 21 October, 2015 at 15:36

In a major unprecedented turn of events the SGPC has suspended the prestigious ‘Panj Piyare’ after they summoned the 5 Takht Jathedars for their role in giving pardon to Dera Sauda.

SGPC Head Avtar Singh Makkar called the decision to summon the Jatehdars as anti “Panthic” and stated it violated the ‘maryada’ the tenets of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

Makkar was quoted in the HT as saying:

“It is aimed at causing dissension and division in the ‘Panth’.

“It is also against office rules of the gurdwara body.”

3 of the Panj Piyare were asked to report to the SGPC office in Hapur Uttar Pradesh while 2 others were transferred to Kurukshetra Haryana.

Makkar also suspended SGPC secretaries Manjit Singh and Roop Singh for what he charged them with “failing to fulfil their Panthic duties”.

Yesterday, several Raagis and Dhadis protested against Giani Gurbhachan Singh and called him ‘paapi’. Today, Makkar suspended those Raagis which include Bhai Karaj Singh and Bhai Harcharan Singh, ‘pracharak’ (preacher) Surjit Singh and supervisor Harpal Singh.

The Panj Piyare Satnam Singh Khanda, Tirlok Singh, Mangal Singh, Satnam Singh and Major Singh met early in the morning at Sri Akal Takht Sahib to do ardas and than announced their decision to summon the jathedars on October 23.

The Panj Piyare were quoted in the HT

“We have been under tremendous pressure from the ‘panth’ (community) that has questioned the conduct of the Takht sewadars. Many Sikhs have met us in the past few days to convey their anguish over the anti-panthic ‘faisla’ (decision) to first pardon the Sirsa dera head and then withdraw it,” they said.

“The community is of the view that the decision (of pardon) should have been taken in consultation with the ‘quam’ (community) and with other Sikh ‘jathedbandis’ (organisations). So, to clarify your entire position, you are hereby directed to present yourself before the Akal Takht,” said the announcement, asserting that they (Panj Pyaras) have the authority to summon even the Takht jathedars in exceptional circumstances facing the ‘Panth’.

After the ‘Panj Pyaras’ announcement, Giani Gurbachan Singh refused to come out of his residence in the Golden Temple complex to give his reaction to the media. However, his emissary conveyed that he would send a written reply would be sent to the summons.
Appointed by the SGPC the ‘Panj Pyaras’ perform the ‘amrit sanchar’ (baptisim ceremony) at the Akal Takht and also lead ‘nagar kirtans’ (religious processions) on important Sikh occasions.

The concept of ‘Panj Pyaras’ was created by tenth Sikh master Guru Gobind Singh. He himself had to obey the decision of the ‘Panj Payaras’ who had ordered him to leave Anandpur Sahib after the Moghul army laid seige to the town. HT

Earlier News:

Panj Piyare on Wednesday summoned Akal Takht Sahib jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh before the supreme temporal authority of Sikhs for his role in ‘pardoning’ Ram Rahim. Jathedar along with the other jathedars have been directed to appear before the Akal Takht on October 23 at 10 am.

The others summoned include Takht Keshgarh Sahib jathedar Giani Mal Singh, Takht Damdama Sahib acting jathedar Giani Gurbaksh Singh, Takht Patna Sahib jathedar Giani Iqbal Singh and ‘granthi’ Ram Singh of Takht Hazoor Sahib in Nanded, Maharashtra.
