when we die our body is burnt so who feels the pain? soul? but the say soul doesnt feel anything also theres pangti in gurbani it says jamdoot kesa toa pakar kay lea kay jande nay our body is burnt after death so which hair do jamdoots grab onto

and please if someone can provide that pangti will be thankful to them the one that says like jamdoot kesa pakar gayrayn

We get another body to pay for our karams and that feels the pain.

After death the soul gets departed at that moment when we stop taking breath that means as you die your eyes got closed at that the soul get ready for next journey and if the human being has done good karams then there is no obstacle in his path but if someone doesn't chant the name of lord he will get punished by jamdoots by various ways. So after that soul gets punished and pains. Body is just a robe we are wearing it will be left here.
That's why Gurbani tell us to perform good deeds which help us in that path because we have to give lekha for every every second.

When the asthool body (physical body made up of 5 basic elements) is burnt, no one feels the pain. The asthool body doesn't feel pain because it has no sensation or life. The Sooksham sareer (astral body) doesn't feel pain because it's no longer in the asthool sareer. As for who feels the pain of the beatings of jamdoots, the sooksham sareer feels this pain. Even while living in the asthool body, it's the sooksham sareer that feels pain or enjoys pleasures. The sooksham sareer has kes and looks very similar to the physical body but is not composed of the same material as the physical body.
