Well according to my humble opinion....if anyone does anything wrong ( idols) than they will be judged in Vaheguru;s court. 2ndly Reading/listening to Guru Granth sahib Jee should not taken as negative. The reason Harmandir Sahib jee have 4 doors is to be inclusive. BHUL CHUK MAAF.

Best maryada is reading with love. Anand bhai mere mayee satguru ma payaa. God is love. That's why we have bhul chuk maaf in our ardass.
