With Guru Sahib Apaar Kirpa, Gursikhs here have organized an Amrit Sanchaar this Sunday in Khushi of Siri Guru Nanak Dev jee's Gurpurb to be done at Gurmat Bibek VIdyala - 139 Devon Road Unit 6, Brampton ON.
The schedule is as follows:
Friday November 7th, 2014 - 4 am - Keertan of Sir Asa kee Vaar followed by Arambh of Siri Akhand Paath Sahib
Sunday November 9th, 2014 - 3 am - Bhog of Siri Akhand Paath Sahib followed by Keertan of Siri Asa kee Vaar. After conclusion of Keertan, Amrit Sanchaar will begin.If there are any Abhilakhees who want to take Amrit and become part of Khalsa Panth then please contact daas via pm, e-mail, or by phone for more details on the location of this Smagam.
Abhilakhees are requested to come after doing full Ishnaan including Keshi Ishnaan and to wear Gurmukhi Bana to the Amrit Sanchaar.
Singhs are to wear Gurmukhi Chola that goes past the knees without Pajami and to have a Basanti Keski of 3 meters with Surmeyee Dastar of 5 Meters on top. Chola must be of either Blue, White, Yellow, or Black color. Please have a White Hazooria as well. Kirpan and Kara must be of Sarbloh only. Kanga must be of wood and Kashera must be White and going to the knees. Kakaars will also be provided at the Amrit Sanchaar.
