I think we should all write on this thread any tips that we have for keeping bibek.
Especially when you are the only one keeping it.

I'll start.
Since we have to boil milk to drink it in Canada, it is a good idea to put a tiny amount of cold water in the cup to make it instantly drinkable, instead of waiting for it to cool down.

If I stick water bottles in a bag (backpack or gym bag), from a tap, is it still okay to drink, maybe if I have a bag on my back or put it somewhere, where some one who is not amritdhari or has dhilli rehat may pick it up, bump into it or something, without opening it and touching the bottles themselves?

For like nagar kirtans and going to places where there is no food or water that is bibeki.

It is fine to do so. Many Singhs going to work/school take water/food in the same way as you have mentioned.

Actually, instead of putting water in the milk, just put the pateela in the sink, fill the sides with water and stick about three ice cubes in the sink.

Not in the sink Guru Pyaareo! Joothay bhanday are kept there. If you wish to do as you have mentioned, you can do so in a Sucha Bhanda (which will be bigger than your pateela) instead of a sink.

One can easily wash the sink before and make it sucha.

Are there any guidelines around ice?
some fridges make their own ice.
otherwise there are those plastic water things that freeze.
