Lottery

Since a Sikhs earnings should be honest and according to Sikh principles, is it okay for a Sikh to attempt to win the lottery?
As far as I know, it is not a good for a Sikh, aside from the fact that it is more likely to lose a lot of money if going to the lottery regularly.
As a Sikh should not make money off of anti gurmat activities like selling meat, is the lottery in the same category?

Lottery is gambling and shouldn't be used as a means to make money. It is my personal opinion that if a Sikh wins a lottery he should spend all of it towards propagation of the Sikh faith and not use it personally otherwise it will make him corrupt.

I dont think a sikh should be gambling in the first place. Gambling is not dassan nauhan di kirt.
