Right procedure to dispose old dastars (turbans)

Is there is right way to dispose old dastars (turbans)

It seems inappropriate to dispose of them in the garbage or to use them as rags or cleaning cloths, which is the usual desi way old clothes go.

I burn them with my fallen out kes. But make sure you are away from your house and have a water hose ready.
