Jaganmohan Reddy's Gundas (Anti-Telangana protesters) who were enforcing a complete Bandh in Vijay Nagar attacked Gurudwara Sahib after seeing some Sikhs go inside and outside Gurudwara Sahib (Regular Sangat). They attacked Gurughar, broke glass panes, went inside, lifted Maharaj's Manji Sahib, with Maharaj ji still parkash, and brought it outside on road and burnt it.
Sewadars and sangat tried to save Maharaj's Saroops but damage was done.
Very Painful and Sad incident. Mobs repeating what they did in 1984.

Protesting against the attack on a Sikh Gurudwara in Vizianagaram on Saturday and sacrilege of the sacred scripture of Sikhs besides attacking a Sikh priest by antisocial elements, Sikhs staged a protest demonstration at Gurudwara Saheb Ameerpet in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Sikhs, holding placards and black flags, gathered in large numbers at the Ameerpet Gurudwara and demanded the arrest of the attackers and stringent action against them.

President of Gurudwara Saheb Ameerpet S Darshan Singh said anti-social elements threw stones on the Gurdwara Saheb in Vizianagaram and a few of them even barged into the shrine and abused the priest there in a filthy language.

“Attacking a religious place which has nothing to do with the ongoing agitation is very unfortunate,” he said.

President of Gurudwara Saheb Barambala, Sikh Chawniat, Attapur, S Harbans Singh appealed to chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to ensure that the attackers are arrested.

I feel all of the Gurudwaras should nowadays have HD CCTV cameras installed in the premises, so that culprits can be brought to the book. Some Gurudwaras already have this. I know our local Gurudwara has them and there was an incident in which a golak-chor was caught with their help.

People who did this in vijayanagar should not go scot-free.

Waheguru, very well said Singhni Jio! Our souls have been sold to Maya that we love our sareer to fear to defend our Guru from being burnt, and now do nothing to demand retribution, and justice..so very painful just thinking of how our Gurbani dragged out of Gurdwara, probably thrown on floor before being burnt...evil police was surely in this to not be there soon enough!
these evil hinds then go overseas and have nerve go preach about peaceful Gandhi? So why so much evil, oppression, corruption...? Where is the respect for human dignity, and the word of our King Gurbani, who is the True preacher of peace, yet subject to such evil action?
where is the world support for us against such evil action?

Wahoo Wahoo Bithla Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jio..
