Kaljug in the house of Guru Nanak

Posted by akaal74
One other proof that Kaljug is expanding faster and has been making its way inside the house of Guru Nanak as well.

Yesterday Sikh Channel in UK broadcast a 30 mins clip from Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Southall with the management welcoming Milkha Singh the Indian sprint runner who is in UK to promote his bollywood movie. All the time was spent on praising this man and then he himself took the stage to promote the movie which if you look up the internet is full of lustful and alchohol related scenes...

Some will say he is a Sikh sportesperson but it does not provides us any excuse to promote a non gurmat related event inside the Gurdwara sahib.

I have to say agree with you on this. Even the pleasure of attending Gurughar is not same as before. Nowaday Ragees after singing a shabad(mostly saregamapadanisa & AaaaAAAAAaaa)....in the past 2-4 years many have started to praise others(as if they are attending a social event) and talking about worldly thing.
Just early this year a "ghazal singer" and some indian singing competititon winner was called to do keertan.

Its very revolting.....

This is the same Gurdwara:

That closed its gates to Sangat (especially the car park) for the Pardhans wifes recent funeral & due to this for the first time the fixed sevadaars were asked to clean the Gurdwara and the carpark thoroughly, not once done before for even Nagar Kirtans.

The same pardhan that honours RSS in 2007

That allowed Bollywood Filming to take place on its premises

The list is endless. He runs it like his 'own' property, they ban any sangat that causes what they call friction. It's all about kursi these days and power. Elections should be banned and selection should be used instead.

It's a shame as this is the only Guru Ghar in Southall where one feels real anand. This is where Bhai Rama Singh Ji started the simran programmes in the early hours and it's still going strong.

mikha singh is only honoured and respected by the hindus. The Sikhs don't praise him or pay any reverence to him at all. He is the one 'sikh' who has been loyal to india, regardless of whatever has happened. You will never see him talk about 1984, or standing up for a just cause for the Sikhs.
Although, the man is a great athlete.

I feel 100% sure that if the epithet 'Flying Sikh' had not been spoken in Rome and had it not caught the imagination of the press, he would never have received all the respect and fame that he got later in his life. I'd say Milkha Singh reaped a lot even though he never (?) won a gold medal. In past 30 years he has played golf, mixed with the higher gentry of Chandigarh, enjoyed quite a respectable and comfortable life in Chandigarh high class. There have been others who achieved similar or more achievements but were not rewarded too much by the Indian society. Its past life karma I guess.

Can the sangat ask Mr. Milkha Singh that out of his busy schedule outside bollywood showbiz business if he has any interest and time to attend Amrit Sanchar, take Amrit and become Guru Wala.

Secondly, ask that does his son has any plans to grow his Kesh and replace Cap with the Dastaar.

Maybe, S. Fauja Singh Jee should ask these questions.

Bhul Chuk Maaf.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa,
Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.

Such are the ways of Kaljug that a Sant Gurmukh is slandered and a person devoid of Prema-Bhagti is worshiped. These people who are promoting a film in a Gurdwara Sahib most likely slander Gurmukhs who keep Rehit but are promoting an Alpag jeev like Milkha Singh who has never done or said anything for Panth.

Guru Sahib Sumat Bakshan.
