Shaheedi Purab of Siri Guru Arjun Dev jee Maharaaj

Tomorrow is the Shaheedi Purab of Siri Guru Arjun Dev jee Maharaaj. It's impossible to fathom the greatness of this Shaheedi. Who can imagine what occurred while Guru Sahib was getting Shaheed. Our most Beloved, Siri Panchmesh Pita jee, sat on the burning hot pan and had burning sand poured on his head and body. The atmosphere was burning. There was heat of summer outside and the even greater heat of Maya and Kaljug outside. The only cool thing was Guru Sahib who did not get heated physically or mentally or spiritually.

Let's write some poems in the loving memory of Siri Guru jee. Please submit poems in the love of Guru Sahib right away. All the poets on this forum, please do Kirpa. May Guru Sahib Who is the Baani-ka-Bohitha, do Kirpa so that we may write something about Him.

ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਾਰਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਹਾਨ ਵਿਚ
ਤਤੀ ਤਵੀ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਬੈਠਕੇ ਜੀ
ਤੁਸੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕ੍ਰਾਏ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ
ਮਾਰ ਦੀਆ ਹੈ ਮੁਝਕੋ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਜੀ
ਇਹ ਸਾਕਾ ਵਰਤਾਕੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਗ ਵਿਚ

ਹੁਣ ਗੁਰ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਵਿਟੋ ਮੈ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਹਾਂ
ਸਦਾ ਚਾਕਰ ਹਾਂ ਮੈ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਹਾਂ
ਮੈ ਆਵਦੇ ਦੁਖ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਭੁਲਾਇਆ ਸੀ
ਤੁਸਾਂ ਕਟ ਦਿਤਾ ਦੁਖ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਹਾਨ ਦਾ
ਸੋਚਕੇ ਹੀ ਮੈ ਰੋਈ ਜਾਵਾਂ
ਸੁਣਕੇ ਮੈ ਤਾਂ ਘੁਰ੍ਲਾਂਵ੍ਦਾ
ਮਜਨੂ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰੇ ਬੈਰਾਗ ਵਿਚ
ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕਰਨੀ ਤੇ ਮੈ ਬਲਿਹਾਰ ਹਾਂ
