Apologies in advance for the poor english. Rushed for time.

1. Is it wrong for a non-amritdhari to do 'Choor Sahib' sewa or distribute 'prashaad'? Is it acceptable to do the mentioned sewa if you are non-kureti? If one is kureti and non-amritdhari then will they recieve more 'paap' than 'phul'? What are the requirements if one would like to do sewa?

2. Is it compulsory to cover your head when doing nitnem or naam simran ie should we refrain from doing it if we do not have something to cover our heads with? Is it 'paap' if you do not cover your head during 'paat'? I guess the significance of a dastaar is obvious but what is the significance/ benefit/meaning of covering the head with a dupatta?

3. Is it 'paap' to do nitnem without having washed the hair on your head? Should you not do your nitnem if you have not made time to wash your hair?

4.What do you think of/ picture/ focus on when doing waheguru simran?

5. What constitutes a proper 'sehaj paat'? Does listening to the paat daily from the SGGSJ whilst the mind drifts in and out of concentration count as taking part in a 'sehaj paat'?

6. Please can someone translate the following:

Lage Divan Mool na jaave
Rehat bina parshad vartave
Sooha Pehr laye naswaar
Gobind Singh jam kare Khwaar.

Bhai Nand Lal Ji.

Thank you

Think about it - who would you like to see do chor sewa - non keshdari or kesh dari - amrit dhari or non amritdari ? what and who is most appropriate of the two?
at a bare minimum please bear the wegiht of an inch of kesh on your head and face.
There is no paap in seva only phul - but one must strive to make a change - you can't expect more than the old fan in the Gurdwara which will stay that way for all it's life. If we don't do nothing and not change then we are just as good as that fan..!
requirements are amrtidhari without a doubt - work at it step at a time - nothing happens all at once in this world does it? why the rush to jump at chor seva when one knows they are million miles away from the basics?

what are we sikhs or just the average tom dick and harry? You cover your head soon as you enter the darbar - then of course it's manadatory to cover your head while doing gurbani? significance - is dastar is our Guru Sahiban's saroop - naturally so it's a gift from maharaj to us - so why should we abaondon this gift. Has someone ever given u a gift ? if so did you cherish it or just popped away where you cannot see it for ever?

not paap at all - but do try to take time out as much as possible to do kesi ishnaan

Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee and Gurbani parnaams - Siri Harimnadar Sahib - list is endless -however, most important is to listen to oneself with attention while doing simran of Gurbani.

Check rehat maryada for correct sehaj paat protocol.
you have to listen - that is yours and my purpose in life - mind will jump about all the time - give it time it will come around - repitition is a mother of all skill. Keep trying keep going - these questions are from that mind that knows the answer!
