Murmuring Gurbani

Vahiguroo ji ka Khalsa Vahiguroo ji ki Fateh ji

Someone has put an image on a social networking site asking if murmuring Gurbani during Shree Akhand Paath Sahib ji is manmatt. Clearly Dass feels its perfectly alright to take laha from Gurbani as long as there is no beadbi of Maharaj.



Can Sangat jio please enlighten Dass

Veer Jee, there is no problem with taking Laha. But from the picture I do Not see anybody Looting the Laha.

Lets talk about Murmuring later. But lets talk about the maryada of Sri Akhand Paath Sahib first. Personally I feel there is huge beadbi of Guru Sahib. The family who might have booked the Sri Akhand Paath Sahib is not even there to listen, leave aside the maryada of doing sewa while keeping Sri Akhand Paath Sahib. In such case the family could have started playing MP3 at home in form of Sri Akhand Paath Sahib. What is the difference ??

From the picture it does Not look like any family has booked Sri Akhand Paath Sahib. But it more appears like some Dera of 108 Mahant Falana Falana Baba where the Paath has been kept. Irrespective of that the beadbi is beadbi .

Q: Is this really a Mandal of Sri Akhand Paath Sahib?
A: No
Why: Because this is not a Maryada of Sri Akhand Paath Sahib.

Then what is the Maryada of Sri Akhand Paath Sahib? Can you explain in few words for a beginner in Sikhi?
A: 1) One and only Guru Sahib Jee Larrevaar Saroop, 2) Tyaar Bar Tyaar non-commercial SuSikhiat Paathis 3) Aloud Paath with Sangat sitting around. Mandal is like Guru Sahib is uttering Dhur Ki Baani and Sangat is in pure Rang and Anand of listening to it.

Q: If above show is not classified as Sri Akhand Paath Mandal then what it is?
A: Surely commercialism shown in picture is not a Sri Akhand Paath Sahib Mandal but it can be classified a workshop to train tens of commercial Paathis to take Santhyia first from Pad shed Saroop.

It’s no more than practicing a simple reading of Pad Ched.

All thanks to the pad ched of Sat Guru ji's larivaar Saroop. None of this would be possible if Sat Guru ji's Saroop was rightfully enthroned everywhere.

Dass wants to ask one question-

In case of someone doing a Sehaj Paath from Shree Guru jee, is it okay to murmur Gurbani in that case?

Bhai Harleen Singh Jio.

No matter Paath is Sehaj (Sadhaarn) or Akhand, it should always be aloud. Twice a day in our daily Ardaas we ask "....Guru Sahib Jee Baani SHUDH atay SPASHAT parran da Bal Bakhshana....” Why we are asking for this if we just want to murmur Gurbani? There are countless Sakhis which tells Gurbani should be uttered aloud.

Surti da Paath is a different situation but this Avastha is not easy to achieve.

The most basic thing people say after the bhog of akhand paath in these smagams is that now this place has become so much pure... They Don't think that even only one akhand paath is enough to purify a place...

This is true - but please enlighten this moorakh on real concrete steps being taken by Sikhs abroad or in India to make the change for laridaar everywhere and who is leading this project ? is it an ongoing project ? as it should be ongoing for chardi kala.
