Is ਲੰਗਰੁ food prepared by Amritdhari or the kitchen where food is prepared? According to Mahan Kosh, it is defined as ਰਸੋਈ ਦਾ ਘਰ.

ਦੇਗ is the term used for the food prepared by Amritdhari. Please share your view.

If Tat-Gurmat Bibeki Rehat Maryada is followed then both the Food and the place where food is prepared can be called Langar. In Gurmat it is a comprehensive word to include everything in the process, Tyar-bar-tyar Amritdhari Laangri, Sarbloh bhandey, Reciting Baani, Clean Kitchen premises, Bibeki food ingredients etc... Degh is also interchangeably being used for Langar because it means large cooking vessle.

The word Langar is used mostly for food prepared. Here is a proof of that in everyday language:

The above everyday statements prove that Guru ka Langar mostly means food prepared according to Gurmat Maryada.

Langar originally could have meant such place where Langar is prepared but now a days, this word is mostly used as food.

I agree with Bhai Kulbir SIngh, may be it meant something else previously but its best to be interpreted as Food prepared by Amritdhari Sikhs.

These days also in English *Langar Ghar* is commonly known as Community Kitchen ( I don't think its a relevant english translation) but anyhow I have seen Gurdwaras using this term.

Veer Kulbir Singh Jeeo, in this way shall Gatka be used for Sikh Martial Arts? Where as according to Mahan Kosh and many puritan Singhs Gatka is a stick used for practicing Martial Arts

Shall we accept the current terminology and teach the same to the kids? I personally have mostly used the term shastar vidhia for Sikh martial arts...
