Wanted to ask this. A lot of this maybe happening without us the youths knowing so i want to bring this up. What is joot... as in jootay for food.
Lets say some amritdhari singh's friends (not amritdhari) order a pizza.. a vegetarian 1 at that and the singh takes the first slice and the friend takes the next 1. So the singh avoids the slice besides the 1 that the friend took and continues eating... Is it considered taking joot? and also can this be considered bujjar kuriet?

First of all, food prepared by non-devotees (non-Gursikhs) is Jootha. Now for the understanding sake, if we assume that the pizza that you got was Sucha (prepared by Gurmukhs), and you took the first slice and your friend took the second slice (self-serving), then your first slice is Sucha but if you take second slice from the pizza tray from where your non-Amritdhari friend took slice, then your second slice is jootha. Even if the tray is touched from outside by a non-Gurmukh, still the whole pizza is Jootha as far as Gurmat Bibekis are concerned.

Veer jeo,
You said ordered Pizza. It's either from Pizza Hut, Dominos, Canadian Pizza or Papa Johns ...right? assuming food bibek is not being kept.
Did they prepare it in a special place?
How sure are you that those who made the pizza didnt touch ingredients such as beef/chicken/prawn before preparing yours?(seriously, I dont think they are going to wash their hands just for your order)
How sure are you that the pan in which your pizza was baked didn't have a chicken/beef pizza in it previously? (you dont expect then to wash the pan for the thousands of orders do you?)
How sure are you that the same owen in which the pizza was prepared didn't have a beef/chicken prepared in it previously?
Pizza has cheese, are you sure the pizza didn't contain animal rennet(needed to cougulate milk to cheese) in it?

Chota veer

Thank you bhai sahibs for the answers. Bhai kulbir singh jio.
Now what would be advised keeping piyasi chatrik jio's comments in mind.

Secondly what about all veers out there who dont keep bibek and eat cookies like oreo which clearly state on the packaging that it may contain traces of egg etc
What about them? As majority of youth out of india do not keep bibek pehra and eat from pizza hut etc
Do they need to get peshi for bujjar kureith keeping piyasi jis comment in mind again

What piyasi chatrik jeeo has said is on spot 100% true.

The advice is as follow

1. Prepare your own food at home with Naam Bani going on while cooking food. On how to prepare Bibeki food is different topic.

2. Educate your tongue to restrict it taste. May not happen in one day. It depends on one's Tongue Taste History. But this is not something impossible. Also understand that Gurbani does Not restrict anybody from eating/tasting VEGE foods. Only condition is that food prepared should be Bibeki Food.

3. Depending on spiritual progress one starts getting Naam Ras and Anand of eating/tasting different type of foods becomes trivial thing for a Gursikh. Then Gursikh just take "Alp Aahaar" to feed his/her body.

4. Eating outside food (except sarblohi langars and food prepared by Tat-Gurmat Gursikhs) is Tamasic Kriya. It is big hurdle in spiritual progress. If one is serious to take mighty leaps in spiritual journey then outside food is the first thing to be avoided.

More than these advice you should ponder on the Hukam of Kalgidhar Dasmesh Pita Jee. Before putting anything inside your mouth just give a thought, "Will Kalgidhar Dasmesh Pita Jee eat same thing at this moment what I am eating" ?

Your direct relationship is with Kalgidhar Dasmesh Pita Jee and not with these people (majority of whom you may not have even met). The Aim should be to do things which makes Kalgidhar Dasmesh Pita Jee happy.

Do Not bother about what he/she eats. Leave this matter to Waheguru. You will be held responsible for your deeds. So more than caring about someone else focus on your accountability.

Instead of you learing from Indian youth eating in Pizza Hut, why Don't you set example for them to eat Bibeki Food.

Tongue yearning for tasty foods is the National Highway entry point for Kalyug. Put a Toll Naka on it ASAP. Otherwise there will be huge traffic jam inside. On top of that "Mann" is already "Moorakh" from the beginning .

There is a famous saying in computer industry, "Garbage In - Garbage Out".

Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.

Good point jaskirat veerjio i shall keep that in mind. Btw i`m stepping up in bibek but slowly instead of eating out everyday to 99.9% home food made in sarbloh. My point of bring up the oreo issue was if it contains traces of egg which may not be forseen as well as it cannot be confirmed will it be considered bujjar kureith? i suppose the same thing about the pizza issue if it contained the animal renet or not cannot be confirmed. but what if it did will it be bujjar kurieth?
