This video is very disturbing. Not only because of the issue but also because of the behavior of the sudhar jatha as well... Daas doesn't think this is the correct way of Khalsa justice.. Some points to be observed:

1. The singh beating the old man is using abusive words while thrashing him. Is a Gursikh expected to use such language??
2. The person being beaten up is being held by hair..
3. In the end their is no remorse on the face of the old man who has been beaten up showing beating was useless. Instead he is heard saying that he was targetted for being poor man.

There are lot of other ways of handling such situations. Tactics like publically shaming such people by blackening face... making them sit on a donkey etc were used in old days.. Physical thrashing should be the last resort.

Has anyone bothered to think about why this man is alcoholic.. Has anyone tried to help him?

Lastly these lehars always end up targetting the lowest of the sections of society. Every day hundreds of so called Akalis and SGPC members drink alcohol on a daily basis. Why is such lehar not targetting the one's who are spreading all this nasha in Punjab. I bet these people won't be able to survive outside a jail if they take such action against any sgpc member who is alcoholic.

I also agree with Akall Ji. It should not be like that.

Totally agree with akaal74 veer jio,

Such a shame A young sikh beating a old sikh of his father's age! I don't know why people come up with such effort or ideas to Sudhaar, while they need to sudhaar their inner jeeven first.
As akaal veer jee said they wouldn't even dare to touch a sgpc sikh/worker, then why they are doing this to a poor old person.

Meditate on Naam Singhs! Enhance inner virtues first and let our Guru jee guide us what to do!

They should do this to Kala Afghanists and their missionary followers. That would be a real Sudhaar.

This is barbaric! If these are our only methods of trying to change people then we deserve what's coming to us.

Listen how he says "ah fark yah taksalee te nihangaan vich" while beating him... so wrong

I had tons of respect for Dr. Gurjinder Singh before this video. What is beating a useless idiot "nihang" going to do for our panth?

They should gather all these drunkards and paapis up, take them to a Jatha Smagam Amrit sanchaar, and let the real Panj Pyaare decide what to do with them.

''If you find an Amritdhari who is wearing 5 Kakars and Drinks alcohol and takes drugs, remove his Kakkars, Do his Sudhai (beat him up properly) warn him and Leave him. If next time again He does the same, burn him for dishonoring Baana and Baani of Guru. These type of people who discredit Guru's Amrit and Baana and Baani dont deserve any type of Mercy. Guru Sahib Sacrificed his whole family and gave us this honor of being Khalsa. Whoever dishonours it must be punished.''
-Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale

Too many Amritdharis are doing very bad things now in Punjab. It's very common to see amritdharis drinking and taking drugs. Maybe Doctor Sahab is giving them a wake up call to come back in like with Gurmat.

1. First of all the Taksali uses, the vulgarity typicaly used in Punjab to refers to sisters. Has he no sisters of his own?
2. He holds the drunk man by hair while thrasing him. What honor is there in disrespecting other hairs, even if they are kurehti?
3.Aftter beating up the man, all shamelessly gather behind the drunk man to "pose for photographs", while the drunk man sits on the ground is a very sorry state. Where is humility? Regardless how low a sinner is. What about respecting the other as a fellow human being?

The drunk man was right, he was beaten because he was poor.
Will Gurjinder Singh dare thrash Dumma for joining hands with Badal who distributed alcohol like candy to Punjab recently? The same Badal who is responsible for alcohol stores in every street in Punjab. We know the answer well.

I'm not saying this is right but how would Baba Deep Singh Jee or Akali Phula Singh Jee have reacted seeing an Amritdhari Singh in Bana(and Farladhari) drinking and doing drugs? Would they give that Singh congratulatory flowers(and a box of Mithaee) or a thrashing he would remember for life like in this video?

This type of punishment is old school. It's no longer done which is why it shocks those who see this in modern times as barbaric. I guess we are so used to seeing the low standard of Amritdharis these days that we are no longer even shocked at seeing an Amritdhari openly drinking, doing drugs or doing Shedkhaani with women instead we are being shocked if such an Amritdhari is being thrashed by these Taksali Singhs.

Baba deep singh and other gurmukhs wouldn't have been stepped over by the likes of dhumma and crew. So until we see this sudhaar committee work on a larger scale involving we known panth dokhees, we can't take this seriously.

A lot of you lot have been speaking crap about Dr. Gurjinder Singh the Panthic Yodha that has posted the above videos on youtube of him beating up a drunk Nang that did beadbi of Guru Jee's Bana. Now look at the below videos that he has posted. He is doing positive parchar of Sikhi in poor villages in Punjab.

He has made arrangements to pay off debt of this one man who used to get drunk and beat his wife. He has gotten the man to stop drinking and he will eventually receive Amrit from 5 Pyare.

Started watching the first video and closed it after 0:21.

Listen to the question being asked in the video.

"Kaun hundey jey?" and the person replies "Arore"

Have seen videos of this group in past, whenever they beat or handle any one culprit this is one of their first questions. Is it that without asking a person's caste they can't do their gurmat parchaar? When 100 goods are being done 1 bad can spoil it all....Proactively promoting casteism is not the way for reform
