Mahatma Gandhi will fall in Churasi again and again: Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh jee

Posted by Kulbir Singh
Bhai Sahib wrote the following passage about Mohandas Karam Chand Gandhi also known as Mahatma Gandhi:

(Page 458, Gurmat Karam Philosophy).

Loose Translation: No matter how great Mahatma (holyman), the world famous political Mahatma calls himself, devoid of the divine colours of Raam (God), he will come into the cycle of 8.4 million life-forms, again and again. He will never swim across the world ocean, until and unless he seeks the refuge of the True Satguru - Guru Nanak, and from the house of the Guru (Guru Nanak's house) he drinks the Amrit (Khanda Pahul); and until he chants the Gurmat Naam Gurmantr received from the Guru and gains spiritual wealth this way.

Vichaar: Bhai Sahib has made a very bold statement with respect to the father of Indian nation - Mahatma Gandhi. The whole world considers him to be a great holyman and although he was a very shrewd politician still he did have some excellent qualities but without the true Bhagti done through the true Guru, he will come back in the cycle of 8.4 million life forms. The silver lining for Mahatma Gandhi that I see in Bhai Sahib's above quote is that Bhai Sahib has done Bachan that he will not receive salvation until he comes to the house of Siri Guru Nanak Dev jee. This Bachan of Bhai Sahib opens a possibility that some day in the future Mahatma Gandhi has a chance of salvation by becoming a Sikh of Guru Sahib.

PS: Please refrain from using abusive language against Mahatma Gandhi when commenting under this thread because many people have a lot of devotion for him. The intention of this post is not to hurt anyone's feelings but to illustrate the truth that one can become holy and pure only through Bhagti done by chanting the Gurmat Naam.

thanks for sharing this, Bhai Sahib jee. Although, it would've been better if you shared this on the 15th of August (Independence Day).

Great post Kulbir Singh Jee. Never knew Bhai Sahib Jee had written about Gandhi. No matter how great of a Mahatma one may become but without the naam given in the house of Guru Nanak Dev Jee`s approval one is bound to come back to Chauraasi Lakh joonis.

I'm not going to abuse Gandhi on here or go into detail about his shortcomings........but in his own writings he says, 'had he lived as their contemporary he would have called Guru Gobind Singh Ji a 'misguided patriot'. This is according to his own theory of non violence. What he failed to understand was that Sikhs did not start Wars but prevented Zulam.

He will be very lucky indeed if through the kirpa of Guru Ji he was re-born and had the opportunity to take Pahul.

When Gandhi made that uninformed statement, he was confronted by several Sikhs. Gandhi believed Bhagvad Geeta to be his holy book and when Sikhs reminded him that the author and hero of Bhagvad Geeta - Siri Krishna - himself was involved in severe violence, Gandhi had no answer and when pursued he said that Mahabharata is about the war within. Then Sikhs said that in that case, Siri Krishna too must be an imaginary character. To this he had no answer.

His blind non-violence policy, if followed, would turn the followers into slaves. There should be nothing wrong in fighting in self-defense. Please refer to this article for Gurmat stand on the policy of non-violence:

Non violence may work on Europeans(like it did on the British) who follow some ethics and code of conduct during a conflict but can Gandhi's non violence work when the enemy is an unreasonable Islamic tyrant like Aurangzeb? I don't think so. Just imagine if Gandhi was alive 200 years earlier and had tried non violence against Aurangzeb or against Ahmad Shah Abdali, he and his followers would have been massacred like helpless sheep.

he may not be physically violent, but was verbally violent (which is violence within) against Sikhs Saints, and the True King?

Great News! Hopefully the rest of the World will wake up to his shortfalls and not view him as a role model of democracy and pacifism.
