Breaking News Exclusive – Akaal Takhat Meeting Leak. SOPW has received inside information leaked from the meeting that took place today at Sri Akaal Takhat Sahib. The meeting was held between the Five Jathedars, Advocate Amar Singh Chahal, and other leading Sikh intellectuals, academics and political figures. The meeting was to determine the best course of action to take in relation to the death sentence of Balwant Singh Rajoana. SOPW believes that the information leaked is of significance to the Sikh Nation and we have a duty to present this information to the Sikh Nation. Legal counsel in this meeting was provided by Advocate Amar Singh Chahal who is a high ranking lawyer in Punjab. Advocate Amar Singh Chahal was leading the defence of the 11 accused in the Beant assassination case. Advocate Chahal made clear to those attending that the death sentence cannot be stopped only delayed. Four out of five Jathedars expressed that they wished to delay the death sentence. Only Jathedar Balwant Singh Nandgarh of Damdama Sahib supported the decisions of Balwant Singh Rajoana. The options discussed to delay the death sentence were:

1. The five Jathedars issue a Hukamnama to Rajoana ordering him to appeal, which would cause much delay and open the way to convert the sentence to life.

2. The superintendant of Patiala Jail cannot hang Rajoana in Punjab as he can only be hanged where the trial was, Chandigarh. This transfer process could be supported which will delay the hanging by 4-6 months

3. There is an ongoing explosives case on Rajoana in Patiala Court; the Advocate General (appointed by Badal government) can issue a writ to the court to suspend the hanging until the pending case is solved. This will cause 5-10 year delay. From the information leaked to SOPW we have been given this break down of the options: 1.

Option 1 is seen as very risky as it is believed that Balwant Singh would reject this option and this would be very embarrassing to the authority of the current Akaal Takhat Jathedars. 2. Option 2 would not result in significant delay as the sentence could be carried out in Chandigarh. 3. Option 3 is seen as the most favourable route as greater pressure can be exerted by political figures in Punjab on the Patiala Court resulting in much delay. We have seen international support for Balwant Singh Rajoana and his decision not to oppose the death sentence. These fearless actions have renewed the pride and interest of the Sikh Nation in the ideals that Sikhs like Balwant Singh Rajoana represent. Balwant Singh Rajoana has provided the nation with a central focus point that has brought the ideals of Sikh Nationalism, Justice for Sikh Political Prisoners and victims of oppression and the significance of Shaheedi to the hearts and minds of nearly every Sikh household the world over. We know from many examples of non-Sikhs where the death sentence has not been given that there is no Justice for Sikhs Political Prisoners in India. Like in the case of Kishori Lal the butcher of Trilochpuri, who was released following three death sentences. The case of the Mumbai bombers who were also spared the death sentence; the case of the Naxalites that killed 17 police officials in 1983 but were not given the death sentence. We also know that political figures and police officials accused of brutal human rights violations and genocide enjoy impunity and promotions. Such as Izhar Alam, Sumedh Saini and KPS Gill, to name a few. Balwant Singh Rajoana is well aware of facts like these, this is the reason he has expressed zero faith in the Indian legal system and has made it clear that there is no justice for Sikh Political Prisoners other than the hangman’s noose. This is a continuation of the traditions of great Sikh martyrs, like Guru Arjan Dev Ji the first Sikh martyr, who accepted death rather than bow down to a brutally oppressive government. We know clearly where Balwant Singh Rajoana stands – uncompromisingly for justice for the countless raped, broken, tortured and murdered families. We know who he stands with – the entire Sikh Nation. We know what he wants – the justice of the noose. What we don’t know is where the Punjab government and Akaal Takhat stand. Why would four out of five Jathedars wish to delay the death sentence? Why would they be vocal over this issue but silent over other issues of Sikh National Interest? Why would they ignore letters from Balwant Singh Rajoana and not visit him during his 17 years despite several requests? We don’t know the clear answers to these questions, we can only guess. What we do know is the next meeting of the Akaal Takhat Jathedars is with Chief Minister Parkash Badal. This is the same Parkash Badal against who numerous allegations of corruption and collusion with those political elements that facilitated the genocide of the Sikhs are levelled. Is Parkash Badal above and more important than other Sikh political figures, intellectuals, academics and advocates that he needs to meet in secret with the Akaal Takhat Jathedars? We know clearly that these proposed delays will only serve politicians like Parkash Badal, not Balwant Singh Rajoana who has been denied justice for 17 years. The only reason that the date for hanging was set was at the repeated request of Balwant Singh Rajoana. For 17 years we have nearly forgotten him, will it take 5-10 years more to forget him and others like him, entirely? Here in UK we are lucky that we have 2 Sikh Channels. We have had coverage direct from Akal Takht today. I am pleased to say many sangat and leaders have turned up at sri Darbar Sahib and sangat is filled with with emotion and 100% behind babber sher bhai Balwant Singh ji Rajoana.

Many sangat are even suggesting that bhai Balwant Singh ji be given Jathedari since current Jathedar is not up to the task.

Many leaders have gone to Akal Takht to give written/verbal suggestions including Jathedar Bakhish Singh ji AKJ, Sant Samaj including Harnam Singh Dhumma and Jasbir Singh Rode, Bhai Baljit Singh ji Daduwale, bhai Ranjit Singh ji Dhadrian, bhai Mokham Singh Damdami Taksal and Jathedar Ram Singh ji Damami Taksal.

I was first of view that we should accept wish of bhai Balwant Singh ji - to be hanged. However I have changed my view after listening to views of sangat. Overwhelming view of sangat and leaders is that we do not want mercy/appeal for bhai Balwant Singh ji but we as Sikh Panth we want justice. Since bhai sahib was involved in the death of dusht Beant Singh responsible for deaths of many innocent people, bhai Balwant Singh deserves to be freed from prison. Bhai sahib is innocent, he did service to humanity by removing an evil person like Beant Singh, bhai sahib has already served 17 years in jail and should be released.

The view of many of the leaders is that we need to get justice for bhai sahib and that we need a strong statement from Akal Takht Jathedar. Even Sant Samaj were appealing for Badal to take this issue to the Central Government.

Also outside of Akal Takht many Singh's were gathered outside of Akal Takht doing naare for bhai Balwant Singh ji, Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, Khalistan Zindabaad etc. Also when one Singh suggested bhai Balwant Singh ji be made Jathedar all Singh's were in favour.

The situation in Panjab has changed, all panth is united behind bhai Balwant Singh. Only problem in Panjab is that media is controlled by sarkar therefore still many people are not aware of what is going on. However due to diwans/speeches by leaders like bhai Ranjit Singh and bhai Baljit Singh awareness is being created.

We do not seek mercy/appeal for bhai Balwant Singh ji but justice.

ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ- (23 ਮਾਰਚ, ਰਾਜਵਿੰਦਰ ਰਾਜ, ਜਸਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੱਟੀ)-ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਲੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਪੰਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਦੀ ਬੈਠਕ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੰਦਾ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਦੇ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਵਾਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ, ਸਰਪ੍ਰਸਤ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਦੀ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਮਸਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪਹਿਲ ਕਦਮੀ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਨਾਲ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਬੇਇਨਸਾਫੀ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣੂੰ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਰਤ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਢੁੱਕਵੀਂ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ। ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਕੋਰਟ ਵਿਚ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਸਮਾਪਤ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਯਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿਤੇ ਹਨ। ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਬੇਇਨਸਾਫੀਆਂ, ਅਤਿਆਚਾਰ ਤੇ ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਲੂਕ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿਚ 28 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰਾਂ, ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀ ਅਦਾਰਿਆਂ, ਅਤੇ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਸਾਧਨਾਂ ਉਪਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਕੇਸਰੀ ਖਾਲਸਾਈ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਲਹਿਰਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੇਸਰੀ ਦਸਤਾਰਾਂ ਸਜਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਬੀਬੀਆਂ ਕੇਸਰੀ ਦੁਪੱਟੇ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ।
ਇਹ ਵਰਣਨ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਿਅੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਕੇਸ ਵਿਚ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਮਿਤੀ 30 ਮਾਰਚ ਤਹਿ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਭਾਈ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਜੁਰਮ ਖੁਦ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰਕੇ, ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਦਲੀਲ ਵਕੀਲ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਿੱਖ ਜਗਤ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੇ ਪੰਥਕ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਯੋਗ ਰਸਤਾ ਕੱਢਣ ਲਈ, 23 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸਕੱਤਰੇਤ ਵਿਚ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਜਾਨਣ ਲਈ, ਪੰਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਸੱਦੀ ਸੀ। ਸਵੇਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਪੰਥਕ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ, ਪੰਚ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨੀ ਦੇ ਦਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਿੱਟੂ, ਅਕਾਲ ਫੈਡਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਕੰਵਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਾਮੀ, ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ ਇੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਆਫ ਐਡਵਾਂਸ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਟੱਡੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਭਾਈ ਹਰਿਸਿਮਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ, ਯੂਨਾਈਟਿਡ ਸਿੱਖ ਮੂਵਮੈਂਟ ਦੇ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸਿੱਖ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਖਜਾਲਾ, ਗੁਰੁ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਦਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਦੇ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਭਾਈ ਬਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾਦੂਵਾਲ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਹੁੱਦੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਵਰਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਕੱਤਰੇਤ ਵਿਖੇ ਪੰਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਨਮੁੱਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਝਾਅ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ।
ਅੱਜ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਭਾਰੀ ਤਨਾਅ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਜਦ ਪੰਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਦੀ ਬੈਠਕ ਵਿਚ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਸ ਵਿਚ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਲਾਹ ਮਸ਼ਵਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਾਫੀ ਸਮਾਂ ਲੱਗ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਕੁਝ ਗਰਮ ਖਿਆਲੀ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਬੇਸਬਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਕੱਤਰੇਤ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਭੜਕਾਊ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਵਲੀ ਵਿਚ ਨਾਅਰੇ ਲਗਾਉਣੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿਤੇ। ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਸਿਮਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਤੇ ਦੂਸਰੀਆਂ ਪੰਥਕ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਤੇ ਵਰਕਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਦੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ। ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ 6 ਵਜੇ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਉਪਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਥੇ ਬੈਠੀ ਹਾਜਿਰ ਸੰਗਤ ਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੋਏ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਥੇ ਹਾਜਿਰ ਸਮੂਹ ਪੰਥਕ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜੈਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਦੀ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਰਤ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਲਈ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਹਿਬਾਨ ਵਲੋਂ ਹੇਠਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਜ਼ਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ-
ਗੁਰੂ ਪੰਥ ਦੇ ਸਰਵਉੱਚ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰ: ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪੰਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਇਕੱਤਰਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਪੰਥ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ 250 ਤੋਂ ਉਪਰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ, ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਿਖਤੀ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਸੁਝਾਵਾਂ ਉਪਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੇਠ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ :-
ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੇ ਜਿਸ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ, ਦ੍ਰਿੜਤਾ, ਸੂਰਬੀਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਡਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਜਬਰ-ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਤਿਆਚਾਰ ਦਾ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਸ ਘਾਲਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ-ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਦਿਲਾਵਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੌਮੀ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਦੇ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਵਾਜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸ੍ਰ: ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਸਕਰ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਜਬਰ-ਜ਼ੁਲਮ, ਅੱਤਿਆਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਰਜ਼ਮਾਨੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਜਬਰ-ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਲਈ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ। ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਰੋਮ-ਰੋਮ ਤੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅੱਜ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਮੂੰਹ ਸਿੱਖ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਉਪਰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮੁੱਖ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਦੀ ਅਮਾਨਤ ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੋਜੂਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ, ਸਰਪ੍ਰਸਤ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਮਸਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪਹਿਲ-ਕਦਮੀ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਨਾਲ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਬੇਇਨਸਾਫ਼ੀ ਤੋਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਰਤ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਢੁੱਕਵੀਂ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ।
ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਸਰਵਉੱਚ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਕੋਰਟ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਸਜਾ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਸਜਾ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਦਾਰਾ ਸਿੰਹੁ ਉਰਫ਼ ਰਬਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸ਼ੋਰੀ ਲਾਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਉਮਰ ਕੈਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਾਪਤ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਦੇ ਭਲੇ ਹਿੱਤ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਸ ਅਣ-ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਵਰਤਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਯਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਹੋਣ। ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਬੇਇਨਸਾਫ਼ੀਆਂ, ਅੱਤਿਆਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਸ੍ਰ: ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਲੂਕ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋਸ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਹ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ 15 ਚੇਤ, ਸੰਮਤ ਨਾਨਕਸ਼ਾਹੀ 544 ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ 28 ਮਾਰਚ, 2012 ਨੂੰ ਕੇਸਰੀ ਦਸਤਾਰਾਂ ਸਜਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਬੀਬੀਆਂ ਕੇਸਰੀ ਦੁਪੱਟੇ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ। ਘਰਾਂ, ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀ ਅਦਾਰਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਸਾਧਨਾਂ ਉਪਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਖਾਲਸਾਈ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਲਹਿਰਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੂੰਹ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਸੰਕੋਚ ਕੇ ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਦੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਲਈ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਠ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾ ‘ਚ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰਨ।

ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਦੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿਚ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ‘ਆਦੇਸ਼’ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਗਲਤੀ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ: ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ

ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ, 22 ਮਾਰਚ: (ਸਿੱਖ ਗਾਰਡੀਅਨ ਬਿਊਰੋ) ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿਚ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ‘ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ’ ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਮ ਭੈਣ ਕਮਲਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਇਹ ਬਿਆਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ 23 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਥਕ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜੇਕਰ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿਚ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ‘ਆਦੇਸ਼’ ਦਿਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਇਕ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਗਲਤੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਝੁਕ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਬਿਆਨ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਟਕਲਾਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਦਿਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ 23 ਮਾਰਚ ਦੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿਚ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ‘ਆਦੇਸ਼’ ਵੀ ਦਿਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿਚ ਅਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ “ਉਹ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਮਰਪਤ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਦੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ‘ਆਦੇਸ਼’ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਗਲਤੀ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਨੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੁਕਮਰਾਨਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀ ਭੀਖ ਮੰਗਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ 1984 ਵਿਚ ਸਾਡਾ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਢਾਹਿਆ ਤੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਤਲੇਆਮ ਕੀਤਾ”। ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਨੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ “ਮੇਰਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿਚ ਵਕੀਲ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੇਸ ਲੜ ਸਕਦਾ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਸੁਣਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਵੇਲੇ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਵੀ ਪਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਸੀ”।
