colour of rust ?

colour of rust ?

From what I have read during my school days, colour of rust is reddish brown. I dint wash my karra for a month and it has become black in colour. Is this rust ? Can the rust be black ?

Dude, don't get so picky and particular about little things, just wash it with lemon juice and shine it up, that's the important part. From what I know bad quality sarbloh turns black and also due to constant exposure to water.

The usual color of rust is red, due to the color of an Iron Oxyde Fe2O3. But it can also be black, in this case is a different Iron oxyde Fe3O4.
